Well the 2010 recruiting season is officially completed for us.

In all the hoopla we got two low rated two stars to sign with us today.


Really though, this class met all of our needs adequetely and should help contribute nicely in the future.

Trovon Reed made a mistake. He left an opportunity to win and get a lot of national exposure for an opportunity to be mediocre and get left-out of the big game even if he goes undefeated.

This kid was emotionally in trouble and got completely TAKEN by those that called on him from Auburn. Every scout and recruiter in the country would've fed him the same BS - Auburn just went after him first...LSU obviously didn't realize that he had loyalty issues.

In the end, Auburn is still second rate and coming off a beat-down at the hands of LSU. Auburn will be a pre-season pick to finish either 3rd or 4th in the SEC West next year, and I think everyone knows that LSU has extremely good odds at beating Bama and going to the SEC Championship game.

Bad choice, Trovon...the fact that you'll regret passing up on LSU in coming years isn't enough for me to not hold it against you right now.

The 2011 class LSU will put together will be one for the ages. The linemen alone will be better than most schools get in five years.

I think there is a point to the poster. He thinks Trovon made a mistake and the reasons why. He concludes by saying he won't hold it against the kid.

I too believe Trovon made an error. But I too don't put him into the Janzen Jackson/Joe McKnight situation. Trovon committed to Auburn early like a man and never led us on. He considered his options and made the right decision in his mind. I may disagree with the decision (actually I think his decision is very foolish to be honest) but I'm not going to bad mouth the kid for doing what HE thinks is right and for being upfront and honest with our coaches.

So, Trovon Reed is now Tiger Bait. And I look forward to watching Craig Loston knock him on his arse--not because he picked AU over LSU, but because he wears an AU uniform. There is a difference.
