He still likes the idea of playing QB at Auburn for whatever reason.

Should be a LSU tiger next week and not a Aubbie.

Virtually everyone is expecting Reed to choose AU if he actually does verbally commit.

But again, virtually everyone is expecting Reed to end up at LSU in the end.

Auburn is recruiting him as a wideout. It's Oregon who is on him as a QB.

thats only because lsu fans are too naive to think auburn could ever steal a recruit from them

moron...understand that Reed is LSU at heart...but can see the writing on the wall...he is not our top priority at WR in this class. Would we like to have him?? sure...but Reed understands he has a better chance of playing at Auburn than LSU. I don't blame him for wanting to go to Auburn...

Auburn isn't stealing any recruit from LA that LSU HAS TO have...

My guess...Early commit means hes LSU.

If he waited to signing day it would give legs to an Auburn commit.

Why the hell commit now to Auburn and get shite from eveyone the rest of his senior year.

we have more pull being closer... Having WR actually get drafted, and BCS games could affect his decison... That is if he relizes he would benifit greatly from a redshirt year... He is undersized.

I personally think he ends up at Auburn, but it is not out of the realm of possibility for him to switch. It's common for guys to go want to make a big splash and then when it gets time to make it real back out. It's an hour down the road vs 7 hours down the road, it's not unheard of. I'm not saying everyone is like that but some kids are.

But as I stated before, I think personally he'll end up with Auburn.

The kid's mother died and he wants a change of scenery. He has way better chances of playing his freshman or sophomore year at Auburn than he does at LSU. So if Mr Reed wants to go to Auburn to play football, may he have a successful career and hopefully get drafted in 4 or 5 years. Just let it go.

Oregon is more of a player than people think. Don't be surprised. You don't take trips to Oregon just to see a USC game. He went for a reason.

ps....
sported a nice Oregon scull cap for his game Thursday.

That's the samething I've been wondering. Everybody keep saying that the only reason he's going to Auburn is b/c he'll be able to play there and basically wont be able to play at LSU until a few years.

Makes me wonder if fans are just saying that to diminish the fact that he might end up at AU instead of here.
