Louisiana breeds receivers. We don’t need to drop insane NIL on an out of state receiver.

I can think of about 500,000 reasons why they don't care how many fans show up

I see this a lot. However, that's not exactly true. Every 3-4 years Louisiana will turn out some stud wr's. In 21 we got BTJ and Malik. The highest rated wr from HS since then was Sampson. He never caught a pass and has since transferred. Name a Louisiana born wr since the 21 class who has made an impact.

Now look at the two super frosh wr's at OSU and Bama. Yea, give me one of those guys for instant impact.

Given that we are a Nike school, hard not to view this as not so great news.

Why?

Okay, so he has to wear Nike on the field - Adidas knows this. Dude could then just promote the shite out of Adidas off the field.

Not saying this means he 100% stays, but there's definitely a work around.

It definitely feels like Keys isn’t going to end up at LSU. I hope we aren’t paying him monthly to stay committed; when he decommits we better get that money back

If they getting stupid money... they'll play for a CFL type crowd. Betting on themselves now, because they're not always sure of their future.

Feels like we are going from the best receiver class in the country with the possibility of adding more, to having only one receiver committed lol

absolutely MASSIVE fumble yet again by this staff if this happens.

Your melt has been pretty bad lately. Recruiting may not be for you if you get this worked up.

Maybe, injuries are a bitch, he may or may not get the start.

It's a 1 day business.

If Keys ultimately attends LSU, he won't be able to wear adidas cleats on-field for the Tigers - who are sponsored by Nike - but can support the brand via social media and additional off-the-field marketing opportunities.
I would think Adidas would require you to attend an Adidas school as part of the deal.. same for Nike etc.

The shoe guys want the top players regardless of where they're going to play college football. The off-field promotion is way more important than on.

Tired of these out of state massive diva WR’s.

It's weird how OSU, Bama, and others manage to sign high ranked out of state WR no problem, but we struggle to. While being known as one of if not the top WR producer.

Cooper Flagg had a New Balance deal the whole time he was at Duke. Duke is a Nike school.
