I see a Jacob Hester with lots of speed and will own LB's and DB's.

He is a "yes sir-no sir" type kid.

The kind of young man you would like to see your daughter date.

You won't have to worry about any off-field issues with him.

From a "salt of the earth" type family.

Do you think he runs above a 4.5?

If I had to guess, it would be 4.5, but I wouldn't be too surprised if he ended up at 4.45. A 4.40 would greatly surprise me. Just out of curiosity, what was Jarvis Landry's time coming out of HS. I'm pretty sure he didn't get 5 stars by everyone thinking he ran as slowly as his combine time.

Quinn's top speed might be as good as anyone on the team, but it'll take him a while to get to it. So, I would expect good 100 times, great 200's, and just a fair 40.

Pretty sure this is the same poster that said OBJ would not run below a 4.45 at the NFL combine.

Definitely could've been me. I was shocked. I still can't figure out why he could never get separation deep if he was that fast.

He did plenty of times, unless your definition of separation deep is 10 yards behind the corner which doesn't happen without a break down in coverage.

And also the reason Beckham was able to get open almost at will on comeback routes was because of how much teams feared his ability to blow by coverage deep. It was easy to see Beckham played with elite level speed.

TQ is NOT Wes Welker. All Wes Welker is good for is picking/screening.

I agree. Teams do their scouting, know who can beat them deep, and coach their secondary up to keep the receiver in front of them. That is why the "stick" routes were always so wide open for OBJ.

I also think we underestimate the speed of an SEC DB. You really have to be an elite track guy to simply just run by an SEC DB by 10 yards on a 9 route.

As far as Trey, I think if the NFL combine were today, he would run between 4.45 and 4.48 official laser time. The sub 4.4's he has run were hand timed I beleive. Now, four years from now? Who knows, I beleive sub 4.4 laser is very possible given his work ethic and Coach Moffit's system.
