I'm not saying he is not for real. But his forty is being exagerated. That makes him suspect to me.
Jeryl Brazil ran a 4.12 in the 40--backwards!

Said it a couple of times. LSU will be wise to get this kid. He is a very good route runner, great hands, desceptive speed (not sold on the hand timers at the camp) he never gives up on plays, great work ethic, and he makes people miss after the catch. Hopefully he continues like last offseason and keeps working with specialist that can help him improve even more.
Fontenot, Barbe's quarterback, scrambled all year to extend plays and give his recievers time to get open because of horrible line play. That helped Quinn's numbers along with Smith and the rest of the recieving core, to find the openings in the defense. Quinn's numbers may come down next year due to defenses focusing on him even more without Smith there to pull coverage. I look to see the other recievers at Barbe gain alot of catches due to this.
Only things that make me question whether or not hes going to be a good Div. I reciever are a great reciever, is his height and his ability to fight off the jam. He will see more corners in college with the ability to jam him hard off the line and run stride for stride with him. If he can find the ability to seperate at the point of attack he will be the big play threat the Tigers want.
I still say he will be a Tiger.

Im going out on a limb here and stating if he breaks all kinds of recieving records, that LSU football will throw the house at him. If the kid wants to play both he most certainly will. Jared Mitchell was a baseball first guy wasnt he? Chad Jones was a football guy that could throw a baseball through a brick wall, and we saw how important he was. There seems to be no problem with guys playing both. Let Quinn be an elite college athlete. Whatever LM has to do to get this kid here i say do it.
Oh and TAMU can go get bent, Quinn aint going there.

When did Jordy Nelson play at Florida?
And also, he's a way bigger WR than Quinn is. The only comparison is their skin tone.

I don't think Nelson is much bigger. He's like 6'2" I think
This guy is no doubt thinking of Riley cooper

6'3" but he's also 220lbs. He's bigger bodied.
Quinn is more like Damian Williams from USC than any white WR out there.

I suppose white receivers all look alike.
:racist:

The combine measured him 6'2" 217
Quinn's just a HS Jr who hasn't committed to one sport
He already looks to me to be about 6'1". I'm sure his weight will fill out.

Of all the possible recruits we have looming on the horizon, this would sting the most if we didnt get a commit from him. I would love to see a kid from my area light it up in TS.

He came in 5th place with a time of 22.41 in the 200m finals at the district 3 class 5A track meet in April 2012. He's got legit speed.

Its not the speed im worried about with Quinn, i hope he stays agile and elusive when he does bulk up. With hands like he has, if he can make that first guy miss special things could happen.
