Based on what? He's recognized as a top player nationally based on 10th grade stats. With 2 full seasons of HS left, he could be a monster by the draft time.

I'd love to see him as a Tiger, but if an MLB team comes hard with 7 figures, it's gonna be difficult to turn that down.

O bullshite somebody else brought up race. Go back and read it.
It was Fasheaux.

How come I suspect that if he was black you wouldn't be nearly as vocal about this?

Grizz,
My comments were based on my hunch. I do not claim to have definitive answers. Yes, he has MLB tools and potential. From what I understand, Coach Miles has also told him that he would be okay with him playing both sports. We shall see.

A young guy in our sales group just stopped by my cubicle and started talking to me about football recruiting and asked if i know Trey Quinn. He said he knows him and said that he's gonna end up going to TAMU. Just what a guy told me. He's from Lake Chuck.

I don't give a damn if he's an Asian wr. He's one of the best wr I've seen in Louisiana. I'm black and went to an all black high school in Baton Rouge and I think Trey Quinn would have been the star at my high school.

Brazil doesn't have Trindons 100m speed. I think he is a 10.3 guy Trindon ran like 10.09 if I'm not mistaken
If he's got the same 60 meter time, the last 40 will come with his man-strength. If it was the shorter Trindon who needed to improve in the last half I'd say it might not be possible. But the larger Brazil will probably develop that. Not that it matters in football.

Do you have a link to his stats? Someone posted Barbes baseball stats during last season playoffs and it was either Fontenot or Quinn that was barely hitting over .300.

I don't know who's fastest, but I doubt any of our current guys have elite speed. They never seemed to separate from the DBs even though our running game had them leaning in.
We had separation all year dude

It almost looked like jeryl pulled up at the end there. Did he get Inured or something during the race?
After watching the video again, just looks like Brazil got out the blocks slow. Lewis had a big enough jump to hold him off.
Lewis has scary potential speed wise. Not many guys can get out of the blocks with Brazil.

He didn't but I still think he is for real. The poster was referring to Chris Lewis.

I believe Abram Booty had the Louisiana and National record before Green-Beckham broke it.

Is he really torn between us and the ags? He is a future stud and I hope being a lifelong LSU fan helps us keep him in state.

I can't agree. It seemed like every time we went deep the receiver had a half step or maybe a full step. It was nothing like last year when Randle would be three yards in the clear.

You get a step on a DB in the SEC, that to me is considered "open". The difference bewteen a guy running a 4.5 forty and a guy running a 4.4 forty is not more than two steps.

Quinn is a bigger and faster version of Brandon Stokley
Which is high praise when you consider brandon is in his 14th NFL season
