He was around 225 in high school and grades were an issue. He redshirted at grambling and put on a lot of weight. I think he was all state WR his senior year. He took off junior year to focus on basketball.

My son's team is in that highlight reel. Menard probably doesn't have the number of students in Jr High that Jena had on their team. Of course we got crushed.

So let me get this straight, this is Jaray Jenkins nephew ? I think its safe to say that Jena should put up some points the next couple of years. Do you think Jones will be as highly ranked as Jenkins in a couple of years? Are they LSU fans?

Yes this is jarays sisters kid. He's done well at the Jr high level but it is hard to project if he will be as good as jaray. You just don't know until you see him at that level. I don't know if they are lsu fans. David went there but they don't talk about lsu much. It's really hard to tell who they are fans of because they don't ever talk about a certain team very much.
