I don't know where I'm missing it, but I don't see any breakaway speed. Top end speed.

He's a long-strider. He doesn't have great acceleration, but he is very fast. Just watch the video of him on kick/punt returns on Nicholls' field (ESPN).

This whole WR class is starting to remind me of the 2006 WR class. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Why do you have to be such a smart-arse all the time? He is just a lean HS kid that will gain weight once he gets to LSU.

because i dont think a 160# kid is comparable to a freak WR like T.O.?

sorry, i dont like people talking out of there arse. You do that a lot though. Still waiting on Liggins to commit on Wednesday.

Clearly the op is referencing Dural's long stride (thus deceptive speed) and height when comparing to T.O., not his body frame. Now what about that is so difficult to understand?

I dont think that is clear at all. Can you show me in the original post where that should have been clear to me?

should have just stuck with Brandon Lafell.

A more apt comparison would probably be former Arky and USC WR Damian Williams.

Lafell is a terrible comparison. He is probably faster, smaller and skinnier than Lafell.

Dural is what 6'2" 170 and LaFell was 6'3" about 175 his senior year at Lamar? Terrible comparison.

And T.O. was small enough in high school to take his best available scholarship at UT-Chattanooga... so I'll make the safe assumption that he wasn't a 200+ pound beast of a man at 17.

Dural didnt look skinny to me at all. Also he blocks downfield like a MFer.

He had some outstanding catches friday night, one on a streak route and a few where he outjumped defenders. I could see this kid being a contributor to the LSU offense as a RSFr, definitely as a RSSoph

Holmes is the one I wonder about. I know he hasnt played much football, but he plays like a track guy in a football uniform.

Dural is the best WR commit we have in this class.

Thanks Travin.

I never said you sucked, fwiw. I just said there were WR's across the country with the same skill set. But thanks for letting us know you post here.

I'm posting from my phone, otherwise I'd link his videos, but...

The more I watch this guy, the more I think he should be a mid-upper 4*. Great frame. Very good hands. Also, it's gone overlooked, but the kid has near-elite straight-line speed once he gets going. He doesn't shy away from contact either with the ball or as a blocker.

I was very high on Brandon LaFell coming out of high school, and I think Dural is similar in many ways to LaFell, but probably a little better of an overall prospect than LaFell. I made the comparison before to a young T.O., and I'm not shying away from that comparison just yet. I think LSU has a very, very good one here.

Completely agree. Watched him a few weeks ago against Woodlawn and he just looked the part, and seemed to be the best prospect on the field from what I could see. Also, he seems to have really long arms, which is a really nice attribute for a receiver. He definitely looks underrated based on what I saw.

I promise you i'm not Travin,i'm just tired of hearing your dumb arse talk down on this kid. What's wrong,he made your team look stupid? I never said he was the best WR in the country, i said in the state. He deserves the offer that he got,n he shows why every friday,so stop HATIN' on the kid
