Yes, he's staying now from what I heard. That LSU victory made all the doubters believers in Jimbos system. The fan base could care less about their bad season as long as they beat LSU.
If A&M lost to LSU would have been a staggering number of portal entrants, it is amazing what one victory to end the season can do to moral and direction of a program.

Just saw that Landon Jackson entering the portal from Arky. He is going to have to drop down a league.
I was big on him when he committed to us. Seemed like his injury derailed his career

quote:Wow. Isn't that interesting. It would seem there is automatic acceptance into these programs also.
I suspect that graduate transfers who have already used their one-time exception are enrolling in graduate programs not offered by their previous university, and applying for a waiver using that as their justification.
How long does the application/acceptance into a graduate program unsually take?

It’s hilarious how we are their super bowl and we don’t give a shite about them.

Ajani Cornelius
Offensive Lineman 6'5" | 310 lbs
Sophomore @ Rhode Island
5.8 transfer portal rating
"The most popular player in the transfer portal might just be Rhode Island offensive tackle Ajani Cornelius.
A 6-foot-5, 310-pound New York native, Cornelius is drawing interest from seemingly every offensive tackle-needy team in the country, which, if you know the portal, seems like everyone.
Once a relatively off-the-radar high school prospect from Stepinac High School, an all-boys Catholic school in White Plains, New York, Cornelius now claims at least 23 FBS offers. Among those are Power Five looks from every conference"

They used to treat Texas the same way. Once they enter the league, we won’t matter to them nearly as much.

Lol as I’ve said before, if those kids are that fickle to want to stay or go based on one game then aggy can keep them and go through the same shite next year bc those aren’t the kind of kids who will be leaders when things get tough

Bech is LSU through and through. Don't see him transferring.

Bad as it sucked losing to them this year, in the long run we did ourselves and the conference a favor.
The loss rekindled a faith in Jimbo by their faithful.
Prolly won't be constant questions about him being the coach, buying him out, paying recruits, etc...
We've pretty much allowed him a chance to get them back to the Texas 8$4 level - if he's even still capable of doing that as a HC anymore.

Wow, Clemson's Uiagalalaieliegalealeula in portal?
There will be a big drop-off between 1st & 2nd String QB's in College. Coaches gonna have to be savvy!!

It is amazing what one victory can do to a fanbase and players. Fans were ragging on Jimbo every chance they got. Players are on social media and around town and feed off that. The one victory vs LSU changed all that. I'm in aggie country and its astonishing to see the change in attitude from one game. The players made a pact, all in, and all together to right the ship next year. They have a lot of confidence in steps for new OC, defense, and offense around Connor.

Seems odd considering he started for them this year.

He wouldn’t be the starter next year at Clemson anyways. This isn’t a shocker.
Posted on 12/5/22 at 3:18 pm to Mudminnow
And they’ll all be acting the same way and fed up when they lose games they shouldn’t next year. It’s flattering that beating us means that much to them but they need to look at the big picture

Totally get that, but Boutte has incredible potential. IMO he's featured WR type talent. that hasn't materialized itself as much this season.
So your argument is that you want to get someone to replace someone else’s potential?!
I get wanting the guy, but your reasoning is strange as hell
