Not necessarily saying he's a take, kid.
CBK came down here for the best of the best in every instance possible.
Dude obviously did good work in the ACC but you always have to consider size in this conference. There are big strong receivers everywhere you look and a guy weighting under 180 is always going to be at a disadvantage.
We can say Banks, Welch, and D-R have upside but you just don't know they can be part of the plan till they can get on the field and perform.
If we sign the 2 killers coming in then I'm good with one of the elite transfers and another dude who has played in a rotation like ours this year.
Then there's no added pressure for the rotation guys and backups. They get roles - however small - and can just play fast and relaxed without looking over their shoulders.
I'm prolly being a little optimistic so I won't be surprised if 4 or even 5 guys come through the portal for CB.

OSU has it's hooks in Cypress apparently so Hardaway is next in line.
I'd take Hardaway over Cypress. He's my #1 target.

I don't think we need 4 or 5. Probably 2 or 3 DBs will do just fine. We'll have depth, the talent level will be back up. Just need that couple of guys to fill up the tank.

Mississippi State did this with Hargrave, too. So bush league.

Holmes should be a take.
Louisiana kid at a position of need.
Texas just offered. Also has offers from Oregon State, Old Dominion, Baylor, Washington, Ole Miss, Kansas, Memphis, Houston, Tulane, Virginia Tech, and Arkansas.

Zavion Thomas & RaRa Thomas are two different people FWIW. Might want to fix the OP

Get Keshawn Silver from UNC
That would help solidify DT depth

Cam Wire OL Enters the portal. TYFYS!

Okay, that's embarrassing!
RaRa Thomas shouldn't even be on the notables list.
Fixed. Many Thanks

That's my best case scenario.
CBK just met with Ricks, so that should be a good sign.

Devin Phillips, DL, 6-2, 305, Colorado State (via Monroe, La.)
Defensive lineman From Neville. Started his whole career until this year. Only played in three games, so I assume he was injured.
Looks like he redshirted this year after just three games and has two years left.

Hailing from Monroe, Louisiana, Phillips was a four-star prospect, according to ESPN and the No. 245th recruit in the 2018 class. 247 Sports ranked him as a three-star talent and the No. 61 defensive tackle in the nation. Phillips also held offers from the likes of Miami, TCU, and Texas Tech out of high school. He originally committed to play for the Horned Frogs as a junior, but instead followed his older brother who was an offensive lineman at CSU. His dad played at ULM.

Hearing that Aaron Anderson wants to come home

Interesting, but... from October 12th "Devin Phillips has left the Colorado State football team. Multiple sources confirmed to DNVR that the fifth-year senior quit the team on Tuesday. Phillips entered the season as the No. 1 defensive tackle on the depth chart but missed the Michigan game due to a violation of team rules."
So, who knows.
2nd Team Freshman All-American now in Portal:
AJ Haulcy S 5-10 180 New Mexico
"...stuffing the stat sheet, tallying 87 total tackles, three stops for loss, two interceptions and two forced fumbles... he held a Pro Football Focus grade of 86.5, which ranked sixth nationally among all safeties regardless of classification"

I look forward to the day these kids stop going to Bama. It's so annoying.

Of course they all wanna go elsewhere then come home after when they see a little success. They slept on LSU because of Ed O but doesn’t take much for LSU to be back in contention
Posted on 12/9/22 at 5:10 pm to TigerintheNO
Anymore insight on that?

And yet some people said A&M players wouldn't hit the portal so hard, because they beat LSU. Does not seem to be the case.
