Bull. #2 and #3 weren't significantly more talented than almost all the LA guys we did get. At #2 and #3 we lost out on two tweeners (for our system) who didn't want to play the positions that would best fit them at LSU.
But some of y'all think it's a big deal because they are the #2 and #3 guys in the state according to ranking sites? Even if they may not be good enough fits to contribute as well as the 10 or so guys rated behind them that we did sign?
That kind of thinking is "retarded." For a LB, I will swap Kwon for Torshiro easily.

The Texas coaching staff out "closed" our staff on the fact that they needed him at LB, more than we did.
We also had such a heavy LB class this year, that was not such a hard close for them. It's a shame because that kid is "big time".

Good luck to Toshiro, if there's anything this stuff has taught us though is these types of kids usually don't pan out. See Ryan Perrilloux, see Janzen Jackson. Wish he would have handled this better and let our coaches know before the 11th hour he was going to Texas, but hey, whatever to screw us over even more, right?

Why do these kids feel so compelled to screw their home state at the last minute. Do they think it is cute? At least Collins had the class to announce a week prior to signing. I know Shreveport is just barely part of Louisiana, but hey, have a little pride.
