Off of the top of my head:
Roman Williams - Country Day
Joseph Thompson - Bonnabel
Bruce Jordan-Swilling - Brother Martin (most likely a running back recruit)
Caleb Daniels - Aug
Kai Morgan - Curtis (younger brother)
Both BM and DLS have great 2017 classes.
Eta:I know I am missing quite a few names. This class is prob the the best la class since 06

Lamont Berzat is a 2017 too.

I didn't list the kids already mentioned.

Berzat is a monster don't care what his height is.

Is Calvin Godfrey still a possibility after being released from SU?
Posted on 8/3/14 at 7:19 am to tigabait01
Idk if he is or is not but he would be a good pick up for one year. If Martin plays the again he would be a starter for us. Which would allow Elbert to adjust to the college game. Godfrey is also an upgrade over Odo and Malone. I'm all for it.

Godfrey will probably go somewhere he could start, unless we played him at the 5 that's not happening here.

@JucoRecruiting: Joseph Acuil (7'0/F/2015) of Neosho CC visited Baylor over the weekend. Will visit LSU on Wednesday and then decide between Baylor/LSU.

Wow, Acuil can really move for his size. You have to like our chances with an Aussie
Ben Simmons-SF
Blackeney-SG
Elijah Thomas-PF
Jospeh Acuil-C
let a man fap, I'm an eternal optimist on the recruiting trail with Johnny running the show. Also I think we're a huge sleeper with Thomas since SMU is having a recruiting melt.

Maybe I'm failing to see the need for a JUCO C. I know he's listed as a PF, but could he play that in college really at 7 feet? I dont see it.
We have Malone who will be a Junior and Robinson who will be a Sophomore in the 2015 season...I guess the coaches feel like if Malone cant develop at all this season he's a lost cause?

BTW - when are these scrubs going to finally rank the 2014 JUCOs, they've only been out of the season for half a year now.

or they just like his talent and length along with more quality depth.

Yea.

His film is good and he could be an instant rebound help. But I'm not so sure he is a take at this point.

Five-star senior Elijah Thomas tells @CBSSports his final six schools: Texas A&M, LSU, Illinois, SMU Oklahoma State, and UNLV.
Posted on 8/5/14 at 2:08 pm to glenoaks
Hope SMU falls down for him,
Posted on 8/5/14 at 2:09 pm to glenoaks
Thomas has visits to Ok. St and Illinois set up and is said to be setting up other three visits. I think we will get one with SMU being left out as far as visits go as he lives in the Dallas area.

I saw a top 5 yesterday that didn't include LSU... Hoping that doesnt mean we are 6th. Who knows. I'm not very confident with Thomas but I can still hope and pray.

Oklahoma State is going to fall out of contention. Just wait until recruits see what happens to that team without Markel, Smart and Nash

If I am not mistaken at one point LSU thought they were out of it with Thomas, but things changed in the past month. I agree we are a long shot to land him, but it sure is fun to see top guys considering us. Wasn't long ago we did not even know who the staff was targeting and they certainly were not top 5 players.
