Now I distinctly remember a couple of people saying, “He’s too big for QB and isn’t nearly mobile enough.”

This kid is a freak! Cannon for an arm and can run. Just wait until he begins a college workout program and sheds that baby fat! We’re going to have a 6’7 230lb monster at QB!

Two things;
First that run looked horrible and actually solidified the thought that he can’t run, much more than it showed his wheels or his escapability!
And second, you will never see a guy that small in the SEC try and tackle him unless he is returning kickoffs for us!!!

Jamarcus Russell could be squared up to the end zone and flick it 50 yards with two guys hanging all over him. He wasn't fast, but he was a threat when running because you couldn't take him down on initial contact.

This kid is 2 inches taller (6'8) than Jamarcus is too...sheesh. If this kid keeps going we could have a 6'10 QB lol

I don’t disagree with you, my point was more that video of TJ taking off doesn’t inspire from the video that he is an RPO QB

Even if he’s not an awesome runner, if he gains 2 yards on a run and just falls forward he got 4-5 yards on that one play. The guy is tall.
