Good luck guys on the 7-5 teams. Hope you get lots of women or a rap contract out there to make up for a ho-hum football existence.

I guess that means Ma and Pa Willis have about six and a half hours to talk Priest out of it.

I just don't get how Willis could be so high on LSU at one point then decide on UCLA. Mora is just biding his time until another NFL gig opens up. UCLA is just the flavor of the month. No lasting power, not with USC in town.

Other than the home angle, UCLA cannot replace what he could get at LSU.

I think that paints Mora in the best possible light.

The truth is that he's not a great coach and the limited success he had this year was pretty much the pinnacle of his career.

I'm sure that Kelly leaving Oregon has them intrigued here, as both O and USUw could be down a bit in the coming couple of years. They're probably just overlooking Stanford, which historically makes sense.

They probably actually feel like they can win at UCLA. Hey, they're not being recruited by major colleges for their brains, you know?

We didn't want both.

That decided it all.

There isn't a home angle. It's like saying a kid from Memphis should come to LSU instead of Oregon because it's close to home. It isn't close. L.A. is 400 miles from Tempe, AZ. It's closer, but his parents would still have significant travel to see him play. If distance was the issue then he would going to ASU, not UCLA.

Sucks but S's are a dime a dozen. This time last year we were all plotting about LC and we did just fine without him. The kids we have should fill in for Reid and we have several S's in our sights for next year, Hootie, Ed Paris, etc.

Don't want them if they don't want to be here.

Didn't Gilmore's mom love Florida but he came here. Hell, look at LC, his mom was pissed after he said he was going to Bama on national tv. Some kids make their own decisions and don't care what their parents want. Not my call to say if right or wrong.
