I'm reserving my room in Miami for next years CFP championship game on January 19th!

One of our other insiders who runs the most popular canes site just came out and said that LSU/SEC was the pick all along and we were never really in it. It was a big money play trying to extract as much money as possible from lsu. Idk with this stuff.

I might be wrong, but this just sounds like copium from Miami's side.

we can pull this one out this is the piece that makes us a legitimate title contender. Let's get it done

Defense should be stout, Oline could be an issue .

Maybe a little with the last bit, but it just as easily could be a situation where he was their's while we decided whether to push or not.
Our own insiders just days ago communicated that we may not. It's likely we kept communication, let him visit Miami, continued communication even while he's at Miami, find out all the juicy details of their offer and then decided, "we can do that", scheduled the visit and now will meet him in person get an idea of the character and offer or not. No coping just fluid. No matter the situation the losers' default response will be "they overpaid when we weren't willing to" or some version of that.

The past two seasons if we make 3 or 4 more tackles on the back end like that, we would've been in the playoffs.

This one almost seems different where each school has people downplaying the interest. That happens, but it does feel different with this one. It might be a new tactic from certain schools, or maybe they both though they can add him, but they don't need to.

Who knows how it went down but given the portal age, 90%+ of the time, the kids go for the bigger bag. Word is we gave a healthy bag but his team wanted a lot more and we said no. He has a very strong connection with his old DB coach, supposedly, and wanted to play with him but at the end of the day he and his team decided on lSU.

After how our portal turned out last year and knowing that Miami is really great player in the NIL realm this is huge for us.

I appreciate you coming in and sharing information with us

Uhh, yeah
Haulcy was an all conference safety, he'd have to have a terrible fall to be on the bench

My poor attempt at humor ... haha.

I watched the film on Haulcy. No disrespect to Gilbert but its not even close. Haulcy plays agressive close to the line of scrimmage and has ball skills in coverage. Would be fun watching him in our secondary!
