That game must have taken 4 hours with all the extra points and kickoffs etc

not very often the state puts out three quality QB's in same class

I'd be shocked to see Malachi plays anywhere in the SEC. I wanted to be impressed, but outside of arm talent, he left a lot to be desired. Pop was light years ahead against the same competition. Huntington ran a version of the Wing T last year and relied on a couple of big backs, he'd be under center handing it off alot if the new coach sticks with what he's been doing. I'm shocked he didn't transfer (Airline would have made a lot of sense - wide open offense, their QB graduated, and he'd have Darby to throw to).

That’s not why he passed for 800 yards. They start at the 10 each OT.

C Nuss put up a double double this week.

I expect that too but after Underwood I am not counting anything until they are on campus practicing.

He wouldn't have to sit out a year?
Still has years left to develop

Pretty sure he ran for around a 100 that game too...

Maybe. But moving from Benton to Bossier is pretty easy to pull off for most people. The Benton coach was also the AD and the new guy more than likely would not have caused much of a problem for the family to quietly "relocate" a few miles down the road.
Just look at the incoming transfers this year to Benton baseball from Bossier and Shreveport. Same deal.

Interested in more details if you're willing to share.

Who are these kids? I haven't heard of this being a thing or have i seen it. Quite a few Benton kids go to Evangel and Calvary however.
There will be a new wr in Benton next year with really close ties to the Zeigler family but they aren't coming from Bossier.

Snell from Parkway, Turnipseed from Evangel.

I have never tried to rank the prep baseball teams.
Prep Baseball Report does such a good job that I haven't seriously considered it.
ETA I take it Benton is going to have a good team

Barbe is the standard, but if Benton is ever going to win it all, this is their year. I'd be shocked if there was a better staff in the state. They return 5 senior pitchers form last year's semi final team that will be playing college ball. The two tranfers should shore up the middle infield. It's going to come down to hitting for them. This group really struggles (compared to other good teams) scoring runs.

Now you really have my attention.
I like dominant pitching. LSU-E type dominance.

Kade Bryant kid pitched pretty good this summer too. He should have a really dominant year.

Solid schools, but not SEC caliber. Tech, ULM, NSU, couple of JUCO's. Just a few years ago, that list would have looked even more impressive, but transfer portal has completely changed high school recruiting. The quality of the staff is very good, the depth is exceptional.
