If you stop and think about it ,lsu isnt loaded with proven talent at wr. We dont have racey or gilbert . We have boutte ,kirklin, mooore, jenkins ,and palmer. The hope is that the guys coming in will be good enough to contribute this year.

We really signed 3 ,they recruited and signed bech as a tight end with a gilbert playing style.
It seems to be know that coach o saved a spot for him.not sure where that originated . Its true I'm sure,because of how highly rated he is.
Thomas is a 4 star and borderline 5 star that 247 has as the number 2 reciever in the country and the 3rd best prospect in Louisiana. Weve got the top 2 signed.
Its important that we get him because hes probably good enough to start or play a lot as a freshman. Were not as stacked at wr as one would think . We cant let bama or Aggie get him. He can go anywhere he wants ,that's the type player he is .
Besides boutte we have Jenkins koy Moore palmer and kirklin. That group without boutte isnt even In the top half of the sec.
With boutee were still behind a few teams in the sec at reciever talent

It'll be us or A&M. I hope he chooses us but if he picks A&M, we'll be just fine, especially with the WRs we have. Thomas would thrive in A&M. Guess we'll find out soon enough.

I agree our receiver room could use a talent like BTj, but it’s just not as important as OL for us and it’s definitely not worth an NCAA investigation.
He’s a very good player, but I’m not losing sleep over it. Hopefully we can make it work though.

I think Alabama is sitting third as well. Devonta Smith had to compete with Ruggs, Jeudy and Waddle most of his career. It worked out fine in the end but playing time would be easier at A&M for Brian.
