We better hit the portal HARD, because this class is falling apart, and will not be in the top 10 at the end of it all. BK is who we thought he was.

The coach said he would spend money. Especially after the money from Underwood was freed up. So please don't tell me that it has nothing to do with the coach. Hes in control of what he spends.

It's just $ . Can't blame coaches for losing kids when agents are bidding up offers.
If your offered 750k vs 600k / yr, I'm sorry but you likely aren't turning down 150k more a yr.
We all knew this is what it would become 4 yrs back, and it's exactly that. If anything it's gotten way worse then we all could have predicated, as far as $ offering for these players.

Disagree with the latter portion. BK put together the #1 class in the country and LSU couldn't keep it together financially. He brought the class to the table and we couldn't get them all fed. I'm certainly not saying he's the best coach in the world, but on THIS issue, he did his part and the collectives, the university, the boosters failed to do theirs.

This actually has nothing to do with BK. It’s all money. That being said, LSU cannot compete in this world. It’s time to move money to baseball and basketball

Some of you really don't understand that LSU has more money than thy know what to do with. We just do not spend it. No, we might not have the money Texas has, but we are FAR from broke and we have boosters that are willing to give out. Again, its BK choice if he wants to spend or not.

You keep saying this but it simply isn’t true. BK isn’t withholding funds for kids. We offer great packages and they keep getting final offers after our final offers.

Then explain all of the flips after we lost Underwood. That should have secured everybody else because we could have given all of these 5 stars another 400k a year while still being ahead financially, and yet they all flipped last second.
