This is the most excited I've been for a signing day in quite some time

When I signed up for this site, it was because of the recruiting board as I was really into recruiting back then. Throughout the years, my interest in recruiting has waned a bit for various reasons, some being the transfer portal, multiple signing days and LSU doing away with things like the Bayou Bash. Maybe it's just me, but it feels like there's not as much of an emphasis on signing day now like there used to be.
Now, with Lane Kiffin coming in and all the decommits and new commits (flips) it has renewed my interest in signing day, at least for the time being. I obviously don't know how LSU will fare today and it may turn out to be a weaker class than we all hope for, but I'm still a lot more interested and excited today than I think I've been in at least 5+ years.
I didn't even feel this way when BK was hired, but for some reason, I was very much looking forward to today, especially when Kiffin was announced. I figured there'd be a lot of moving pieces, let's just hope it's not too many of the ones we want doing the moving (unless their move is to go to LSU).
Anyone else feel this way?

No. Not much is going to happen today compared to past years. Probably the least excited I’ve been in 20 years on this board. Kiffin didn’t have enough time to get a big class.

It’s exciting because there are so many guys in play now that weren’t 4 days ago. Many of which, we don’t even know.
Today will be fun, Jan 2 (the transfer portal) is going to hit like cocaine.

i was but the Anderson/Brown/Henderson news definitely puts a damper on things... they, realistically, ARE the class...

That's a good point. I guess it would just suck to lose Brown and Anderson. I still think they make it in this class, but that's kind of what I was referring to by a weaker class.
I haven't checked in a few days, but the average player rating for this class was pretty damn good. Can't wait to see Kiffin go to work with even more talent than he had at Ole Miss.

Completely agree. That game against Clemson next year should be a great crowd, especially after all the praise Kiffin has given our fans and Tiger Stadium. I feel like we have to bring a little extra for him that day.

It's certainly not. Would be awesome if they put it back to just one signing day again and we got that buildup to signing day like we used to.
