This is where bagmen (and deferred interest loans, and pre-paid cards, etc.) come in handy.
Give him an 'unofficial pseudo-scholarship' and 'invite him' to be a PWO.
He's worth every dollar at that point.

I have no clue what any of that is. LSU is a bonafide University and everything that is done by this staff is well within the bylaws that have been set by the NCAA.

Maybe he walks on and a "bag man" can help the family with being able to afford it. Then if all works out, he can get a scholly the following year.

Hang in there Adonis. Your tape looks good and you will end up on a solid team. Don't lose site of a great education no matter what school you attend. Wish you the best and hope we have a spot.

With the transfer portal being what it is, he is probably best served going to UofH, dominating like Ed Oliver and then transferring to a school like LSU.

However, LSU has turned into one of those situations where they literally have the pick of the litter. I’d say really think on the UH offer and maybe give some thought to some SEC schools you have a shot at. I like UH but they aren’t in a good trajectory right now.......
During my recruitment (back in the day - 80s) I was all Notre Dame, but they finally cooled on me towards the end and it was LSU or Bama. Of course, I jumped at LSU. So, I can empathize with you.
You will do well where ever you go provided you stay focused and grounded.

One heckuva a highlight film.
I wished we could take every kid from LA who's good enough to play at this level. Every single one. Sadly, there's too much talent in LA and too few recruiting slots.
Somehow, I hope he makes it to LSU and plays in P&G.
