“Got some info that both of the big Alabama collectives will pony up next Tuesday night.
Particularly Paul Bryant Jr. He’s apparently about to get involved to lock down the 3 big 5 stars left on the board”
“Yeah. One of the strength and conditioning assistants I talk to occasionally got some info on it from Ellis Ponder. Ponder went to our HS. Fairhope“
“Yeah Proctor, Smith, and Russaw.
I think we are in line to get 5 new commits on ESD“
“It’s Ricks or Brown. Not both from my understanding.
Haven’t heard much with the TE
Granted all I know is that we are throwing 7 figures at the five stars.”

Like it or not, LSU does not have the money that is willing to put it behind recruiting like the Bama’s, A&M’s, Miami’s.. etc… we have money but they have MONEY and are willing to put it into their schools. We won’t have the loaded 5***** star roster these schools can put together with NIL and open bidding wars. We’ll get some but until we are winning 10 wins seasons and playoffs year in/year out, the narrative will stay the same.

This reminds me of Bama last year…same thing they did to try an persuade Boutte to enter the transfer portal and come to Bama..they threw “alot of money” according to his dad..

I'm just a naïve country boy, but if universities are really offering these 17 - 18 year olds (actually greedy mom and dad when there's one) this kind of money then college football is gone, long gone.

You're right, it's almost certainly not true. Do you think they would be this loose lipped about it, if it were true? Does that sound like the type of details that Saban would allow them to botch? Sounds like someone: A) Trying to act like a big insider, when they don't know squat, or B) Someone that's not a Bama fan spouting BS they know will be repeated on rival boards, to stir up shite.

Exactly. Focking stupid to pay kids 7 figures. If bama wants to do that, more power to them. Doesn’t guarantee wins. When shite goes south with some of these kids they will leave in a heart beat. Look at the shite show over at A&M. No thank you.

Yeah, it can't be that he outworks the other coaches in recruiting, and has for years. Or that the facilities at Alabama are elite. Or that Alabama has sent more players to the pros under him than any other team. Or that every player that has stayed with him at least 4 years has won a National Championship. Or that Alabama has had 4 Heisman Trophy winners under him. Players don't care about all that stuff.

Newsflash, Saban coached at LSU. LSU is well aware of his ways. It’s not just about out working. It’s about a better system. Before NIL that system was cheating. Now it’s about bargaining and cold hard cash.
