Yea the district is pretty bad, McD#35 is a pretty decent team though. Alot of the athletes St.Aug use to get go to Mcd#35 now, and the coach actually coaches up the talent unlike the majority of the other New Orleans public schools.

DBs have just as much right for that ball as the WR. 0 penalty on that picture.

It seems that the DB in back of the kid from Thibodaux was knocked over when he jumped for the ball and you can not do that to a wr. But they call holding on the play anyway, so who knows.

Typical Thibodaux reffs
i went to CLHS.... when i was younger my dad and i used to go to the games all the time...
everytime we played Thib, CL would get screwed by bad calls. since then "Thibodaux Referees" has become a code word for shitty refs

Don't get how this is a "bad" call?
The defender in front of the reciever absolutely has a right to catch the ball, no problem there, but #18 is not even looking at the ball not even making a play for the ball he's just putting a hit on the reciever, and preventing him the opportunity to make a play on the ball. THUS PASS INTERFERENCE!
Believe me, I'm not fan of Thibbydoe, I'm a CLHS fan and we've been screwed over many o' time in Thibodaux, but this call is correct.

No he's not. He's trying to knock the ball down.

Defensive holding was called. Show me defensive holding here.

So because there was no defensive holding, that excuses the obvious pass interference?

READ THE DESCRIPTION WITH THE PHOTO DUDE. PASS INTERFERENCE WAS THE CALL!!! As it should have been, #18 is body checking the receiver and not even looking at the ball. Regardless if he was going for the ball or not, to have a right to make a play on the ball you have to actually be looking at the ball not facing the opposite direction.

Thibodaux vs McDonogh 35 Photo Credit: Matt Stamey/The Courier Three McDonogh 35 defenders break up a pass in the end zone on a fourth down play with one second remaining Thursday night in Thibodaux. Pass interference was called on the play giving Thibodaux the ball on the 10-yard line with one second remaining. Thibodaux scored a touchdown on the next play and the extra point, with no time remaining, gave the Tigers the 21-20 win.

mc35 had some good players. quaterback and tightend could play. they did a lot of peel back blocks against ths. plenty of hitting last night.

For Jmath everytime we played Thib, CL would get screwed by bad calls.
At least we didn't switch someone jersey last night. we are going to save that one for CLH
