A lot of folks on the RB thought we should have pursued Cooper. O's staff didn't rate him very highly.

I think he was committed or a big OU lean at one time.

We did recruit him late, but by this time we had probably already burned some bridges with him.

This board loved Cooper and O and staff just didn’t pay him any attention until it was too late.

Big miss.

Biggest miss was that guy choosing A&M…..and taking the bag time and time again. Made college about money and not winning.

to be fair to the staff they had 3 LBs sign who were rated higher than Cooper (Webb, Sampah, Josh White) unfortunately none of those guys worked out.

Without looking at the numbers, it's very doubtful he won any tangible amount less there than he would've here. Factor in that we then were in the shoes TAM is in currently and his decision isn't really that crazy or surprising. Perspective is important.
