re: The next 4-6 incoming transfers

I don't now much about him. I did a little research on him a couple minutes ago. Saw he was a 3 star coming out of high school. but that's about as far as i got. I don't know how much he has played the last couple of seasons. I also know he has 2 years of eligibility.

And that would leave one more if what Kelly said about announcing eight tomorrow is correct.

Who you got?

The thing is, there haven't been official visits from anybody else we don't know about. So the guess is the other guy would be from Louisiana, playing at a Louisiana school or at least he's either from close by (Jefferson plays at West Virginia, but he's originally from Pensacola and I want to say he camped at LSU when he was in high school) or has a relationship with Kelly or the staff.

I looked around in the portal and I didn't see anybody who jumped out at me as a Louisiana kid. Tre Harris from Louisiana Tech might be the best of the bunch, but that one doesn't make a lot of sense. He's a wide receiver and a really good one (65 catches this year for 935 yards and 10 TD's), but we're already loaded there.

Joe Renfro would make sense given the relationship with Denbrock and our likely interest in a center, but he's leaning Wisconsin, he hasn't visited and we can't really guarantee him the job.

I could see a safety or a linebacker, but other than Catalan from Arkansas who I would suppose would visit here before he committed or signed I don't really see anybody.

Any predictions?

I dont think we announcing all those transfers tomorrow. I personally feel as though he misspoke. I think the 5 we have and maybe 2 more tomorrow which puts us at 32 for this year and then we wait until bowl season and spring.

I wonder if we wouldn't take somebody whose main impact would be in running down on kicks.

Because honestly, we need some of that as well. Without dredging up the Brian Polian controversy, there is no doubt we had some Jimmy and Joe problems on special teams this year.
