Bump

She has been rocking Bama gear because he talks them up to her. She followed him. This is fact.

No worries. He's no longer a LA boy. I've wiped my hands of him and, while I wish him well in real life, I hope nothing but the worst for him in the sports world. Just like I would any other gump

I hope he and Lacy perform well at Alabama and both get 1st round draft grades.... I also hope Alabama doesn't beat LSU again

I'll repost my thoughts from the other thread. I normally only lurk here but I find the she followed him argument to be so absurd as to not be believable:

Uh huh she knew where he was going so for the last two years she worked her arse off to get that academic scholarship to Bama so that she could follow him there.

Sure...

Come off it Saban had them give the GF a scholly in order to entice Landon into going to Bama and it worked. Hey, whatever that's recruiting for you but own up to it. You're just a fan you don't have to save face.

That's one of the biggest reasons kids stay in state. If CFB and/or NFL don't work out/get hurt, you'll always have a job in Louisiana if you're an ex LSU athlete.

Also all I read around here is how Dwyane Thomas and Debo Jones are his childhood best friends. Yet he's going to Bama cause of the players there.

Sorry that doesn't pass the smell test.

I respectfully disagree.

well... no doubt the Tigers hate to miss out on that kind of talent, but with CLM/Chavis eye for recruiting players that fit thier particular style of play they look for, it eases the frustration..... we will be fine....

because a lot of these kids love the attention...and as long as we give them the attention, they'll keep doing it.

This is too reasonable for most 17 year old kids to understand. If he believes himself to be NFL bound, then home state stuff doesn't matter. But even 5 star kids get hurt or for whatever reason just dom't make it. He is just a kid, and probably making a bad choice. To paraphrase a former LSU coach, let's just move on and find someone else who wants to be at LSU.

This is the part I wish everyone here knew about.....

LSU was going to get burned and so many of you fell for it. I so wanted to share this here earlier this week, but I knew the all-knowledgable Rant would blast me.

Everyone knew for several days where LC was going.

Also, leave the girl alone.

Seriously, you people are some sorry, no life mofos if you start ragging young girl for this.

This is someone's daughter, sister, soon-to-be mother, etc.

This board amazes me sometimes.

Okay, LSU didn't lock up a local kid who is high school all world.

Call me crazy, but I would rather have the four star player who committed to LSU earlier, proudly displays his new team, attempts to recruit other players to join him, and didn't drag it out into a soap opera.

I wish him the best of luck, he is still an LA kid just one that is now tigerbait.
