re: Miles in Monroe?

He stopped in Monroe for recruiting, but was in ba strop talking with Ruben and his father. Confirmed.
Late round pick based on production at LSU. If he's is a great shorts an t-shirt player all he needs is a great combine/work out. He had unbelievable measureables out of high school and I don't see where those would have determined. If al Davis was still living, shep might go #1 overall....
When they say best for myself and family it usually indicates NFL......
Shepard tweeted that he had to do what's best for him and his family........usually signals entering draft.
Good read, have informed him via twitter that he should credit TD.com members on the origin of nickname. Also, advised that a better angle was LSU issuing cease and desist letters to members that came up with designs, but only after it was proven to be a potential source of revenue. Feel free to do the same and get TD.com the credit it deserves.

Honestly, I can appreciate that he made the best decision for him. My only issue is with him saying he made up his mind 2 years ago and was never going to LSU. So, why string the coaches along? There are countless recruits who grew up in LA and dreamed to play for the tigers, but did to get recruited as hard due to the resources being spent on Landon. I can hear other coaches using Landon in their pitch. "You know Collins is the primary target and will get more playing time. Why risk it? Come to X and you are our priority". Just wished he would have been a man if his mind was made up and told coaches to look elsewhere.
Awesome info! I've stuck here in Arlington for the past 4 years and subjected to all of the Big 12 crap I can stand. I used to go over to Lower Greenville for watching parties until the establishment shut down. It's good to know there is a group operating a little closer. I will definitely be at Fox and Hound for Ark!
I found WWL. Is that the only one? I'm in Texas and do not want to miss the press conference or radio rants today. Should make for good listening.
Watching the end of the game; I had deja vu of the same chinese fire drill in 2008. If you recall, Les and the coaching staff had no clue of time left and ended up running 20 seconds off the clock with Flynn throwing a pass with 4 seconds left and no timeouts. Fortunately, that time it was completed. Note: It was not a designed play as he replied in post game interviews that he did not realize the clock was still running. Just because it worked does not mean it was the right call....When you play with fire, you will get burned. I have been a big fan of Les' gambler mentality with fake FGs, converting 4th downs, etc. but failing to manage the game is unexcuseable. As for Crowton, the only time he has had success in coaching is with a pro-style qb(La Tech and BYU). It does not take a rocket scientist to see that they have not recruited this type of QB and he should have adapted his philosophy to his players' ability. He has shown that this is not his mentality and needs to go..
