if it is they see the glass half full, what is the definition of some of our fans? it is unbelievable how negative some of the comments are on this recruiting class. I just can't see an objective person making comments like "worst class in over 10 years", "no qb and all of those lowly 3 stars", etc, etc

i'm a fricking optimist and i'm going to celebrate our first 20 recruits. I just don't understand being bitter on signing day when you have 12 4 stars and 1 5 star in the bag and will most likely sign 5 more 4 stars or 5 stars. that's 18!

cry all you want; i'm going to open up a brand new bottle of 18 yr old Jamesons!

Have a masters degree so kind of bright!
How is signing a kicker for 1 year with a 25 hard cap smart compared to signing a 4star stud RB, CB or WR. Now LSU will have to say NO! to either joiner, chase, goodich

Did you pay attention to this season at all? Kicking was a major concern. He addressed that concern. We have a ton of DB depth, we just got the best WR in the state and signed a lot of WRs last year. We already have two RB commits. Kicker is a major position of need. Even if it is just for a year.

How do you know they all want to come to LSU? Perhaps the numbers have already worked themselves out.

hey man, how's it going? i'm sorry that our 3 scholie kickers that Miles left can't kick FG's or extra points. we NEED to kick those things you know?
maybe they will come around and maybe they won't but w/o a kicker you will lose a lot more games.

oops my glass seems to be only half full, I think I will go and freshen it with the Irish.

Nah Pa-Paw, a true pessimist is one that says the glass will never even get to 1/2 empty, because there is a hole in the bottom!

Enjoy your glass with just 1 hole in it and keep it at least 1/2 full!

Why does it matter that he signs for only 1 year?

The 85 scholly maximum is a big limiter too, and this kid will drop off after next year.

Often times, kickers account for more scoring than any other individual player on the team.

I think Florida wished it had a kicker that could make all of his PATs.

Looks like a good pick up.

I'm not 100% that counts against the hard cap because he's a transfer.

And we need a kicker like it's nobody's business. I just wish we'd get a freshman who could kick for 4 years.

Does this new kicker count towards the 25 this year? I have heard it both ways.

For some reason, the brightest of the bright can’t understand the importance of pat’s and field goals!
Also for the experts on this board (and I’m not one!)
What took y’all so long to figure out if the kicker counted against our #?

My god why not give gonsulin and culpp another year to develop and improve. Jus dont understand with a limit of 25 he would use one up on a 1 year kicker
