Texas is not firing Sark in year 2. Anyone saying that they might is insane.

I'd hate to lose him since he seems like the hidden gem of the class, but if there is a position group we recruit well it's WR.

Of course they're trying to flip him. They'd be stupid if they didn't try.

It's just like how we still went after Rickie, even though he was committed to Purdue. Or Miami going after Jalen, or any number of other examples.

Until signing day, every school is still going after every recruit. But I feel confident we'll get most of these guys signed early and can get all of them onboard by the end of the year.

Kyle Parker is really making noise in Texas with his play this year, had to expect UT and OU to call. It would really suck if Parker decided to play elsewhere as I think he's the type of dude from a personality standpoint that will transition immediately to the next level.

Now, if Parker backing off his commitment nets a Harvey Broussard offer, I am back on board.

I hear ya, but if he drops this game, they probably still have losses to OU, OK St, Baylor and probably K St as well.

The culture of losing the game in the 4th quarter has not changed at all since he got there.

I've heard a lot of local radio guys saying he "cannot lose this game (coming up)"

Yeah they'll give him 4 years tops, but Texas will end up with a losing season again if that Ewers kid doesn't get back soon.

You are talking about a school that actively subverted Charlie Strong as a coach by withholding funding and sabotaging recruiting

No way, they’re (boosters) committed to seeing the Sark/Arch era at Texas, it would take a monumental meltdown to stop this. I mean a 3-9 season and players(23 recruits) bailing for this to happen. Arch has already paying dividends to Texas in recruiting and hype for the Longhorns. Boosters will bite their tongues for at least 2 more years to see this to fruition.

Parker just did an interview about 5 days ago. He apparently grew up an LSU fan.

If I'm Parker I give a good hard look at the texas offense over the LSU offense. It's just reality at this point.

I doubt he’s dumb enough to go there. They’ll have at least 2 coaches in the next 4 years and the same boosters that are trying to pay him to flip are squeezing the life out of that program with their control freak bull shite. The kids who flip to either of the Texas weirdo schools are trading a few hundred thousand for almost certainly doing nothing notable in the NFL

Is there a team in all the NCAA that has gotten less wins per dollar than Texas? Maybe aTm but after those 2 it's a huge divide.
There's no guarantee they won't be shopping for a new head coach before signing day.

Booster may chose to spend NIL money on BOC (Buy Out Coach).
