How many WRs from Texas are in the NFL? How many from LSU?

The defense rests, your honor.

Legit question. Who was the last good receiver to come out of Texas? Roy Williams? There has to be a good Texas receiver since him, but I can't think of any.

Texas is just mad that LSU has been purging the frick out of their talent there and wants revenge. LOL LSU has been doing it to them like Bama has been to us, so they want to get one of our top studs.

Texas' passing game is nothing but WR screens because their OL and QB situation are farrr worse than ours.

I see this all the time but I don't agree.

His best shot at the NFL, his goal, is LSU.

Yes a degree from UT carries more weight but is he going to be an academic standout where he can turn that into $ away from either fanbase? If so then cool, he's already that guy and would have been successful anyway no matter where he goes.

If he's not, no one cares about a 2.0 in sports management from UT other than UT boosters. Boosters don't care as much about out of state has beens crawling back for a job as they do locals, and odds are he ends up living within 90 miles of his place of birth anyway. He'll probably end up [living] here, and "here" will care about him more.

Let's not pretend this isn't about football. If UT was pumping out players and gave him a better shot at his dream then move away. You are the #1 WR in the country not a guy with some offers, you are dead set on playing in the NFL.
And like I said, if he's getting a degree worth a hire outside of Austin or BR (he easily may) he was always going to end up with a nice job.

Fun Fact: In the 2014 NFL draft LSU had more WRs without a reception drafted than the University of Texas had total players drafted.

Jarius Wright: 0 reception 2013 (7th rd '14)
University of Texas: 0 players drafted 2014

I can tell you who I think the next will be and that's the Kirk kid at TAMU. I'd like to see the Saints draft that kid in this upcoming draft, his speed is awesome and he runs good routes and has excellent hands. He is also a dangerous return man, they need that again even though the offense has started to play well, I think Ginn is at the end of his rope and his hands has always been bad. Kirk gives them that outside threat that they have been missing for awhile now since Devery Henderson, he makes them explosive again wheras they are just good now.

I understand, I'm not arguing otherwise, just saying that they would love to give LSU a lil pay back.

Texas isn't doing any better, that's for sure. The notable former Texas players in the NFL are all on the defensive side of the ball.

Texas has not had many defensive players drafted recently at all defintley not compared to LSU. LSU owns Texas when it comes to putting players in the NFL the last 5-10 years.

You do know this isn't about Terrace Marshall to the state of Texas right?

Sure as hell hope not. Wow those Texas boys really have no clue to reality. Hell LSU has produced better WR prospects with almost no QB. Marshall will likely have the best QB roster ever seen at LSU to work with. It's a good time to come to LSU as a WR and bad time to head to Austin. This kid is smarter than that.

If recruits chose colleges based on the town/city, then Florida State should be near the bottom of the ACC.

Oh, wait, they are.
