They sure as hell departed from Fulmer with this clown.

I liked ol Phil, it was his time to hit the road, and he enjoyed a good bit of support till the very end. LK is like the anti-class coach.

I just can only imagine what is going through the minds of those that supported TN for decades. May be a hell of alot of "I told you sos in the next couple of years"

youd think he was the head coach at SC for the last 8 years with all the credit he takes for all the trojans have accomplished this decade.

hes in for a rude awakening when SEC games start. lord i wish we played them this year

I would rather play them like we do. Let FL get their kicks this year, then FL, BAMA, GA, AND us in 2010.

Then we can claim credit for getting his arse railed. But then they may get a real coach, so is that what we really want?

almost makes you wish that'd they'd make it to the SEC Championship so we'd have an opportunity to meet them, doesn't it?

Sadly, we'll have to settle for watching UF hang 100 on them.

Maybe 35, not 100.

Charlie Strong would have made a much better hire than this turkey, but time will tell just how bad or good he can be at UT. From what I've been able to tell, he's a bit young and cocky. We'll now see if he can back up his mouth with actions.

You know it's frustrating for black coaches like Strong with age and experience like that to see places like UT hire a 33 year old punk.

I now encourage all to address him as Coach Kid Kiffen

You know it's got to be, and I am one of those that hate the bitching and complaining about a coaches pigmint, but damnit, Charlie is heads and tails above this silly man, and he deserves a shot, if for no other reason than what he has already demonstrated as a coordinator at the highest level in CFB, and one that just came off a NC, and consistently has phenomenal defenses. I don't get the UT hire at all to be honest.

Yep.

Most white coaches would have gotten a shot if they had Strong's credentials.

That's why I don't mind a rule similar to the Rooney Rule in the NFL. It worked for the Steelers. They interviewed Tomlin and liked him so much, they hired him.

Strong may prove to be a poor head coach, but he deserves to get a shot to prove it one way or the other.

And it really sucks if folk are put off that he's married to a white woman.

The SEC is quickly becoming the conference known for the slimiest coaches. CUM, Prick Satan and Lame Queffin. Hell Saban looks like a saint now

Kiffin is actually boasting that he encouraged kids to lie.

Who doesn't respect Al Davis a lot more today, who fired Kiffin and then called him a "flat out liar"?
