For us to lose out on 4 or 5 top recruits and still finish 2nd leaves me ecstatic about how this class turned out

And I have not lost sight of this point - this is one of the very best classes, top to bottom, we've ever had - Top 3 or so in the modern recruiting era and Top 5 to 8 or so in LSU football history.... on paper.

Now, let's get them in school, on the program, in class, doing all the right things and actually win championships with them. We've got a little over 200 days to get ready for Wisconsin.

Overjoyed We got one of the best classes in the country, could lead to being the best in school history. All seem like real character guys.

This. I do not regret brown, jones, Robinson, noil or Willis. It isn't sour grapes; but the way most of them handled it says something about their character and integrity. If they didn't want lsu fine, but to lie to the staff or purposefully lead them on (if), then that's all together different.

The only real regret is not getting more ol. That's more on coach stud, and we have addressed that situation as well.

Carter was awesome, would have loved to have him. It's a testament to the staff that we were in it that late

Very happy. Sure we missed out on some in state "5-stars", but there will be a few lower ranked guys who will show people that those ratings are worthless.

Happy as can be.

We have a class every bit as good as that other school's; guys full of fire and chest and not 'system'-atic 4 and 5 star automatons.

I'm sad that we missed out on 3 elite in-state prospects to other SEC schools, but very happy otherwise.

I don't think anyone is happy about this especially when we all thought they were locks. Time to move on though.

Very happy with the class.

It came close to being a little better but it could have easily been way worse. I never cared about getting the top class, as long as it was top five.

Hope the staff continues to recruit well nationally because it's a necessity most years.

Wish all of the in-state guys that left the state had gone out of conference. Glad they didn't all go to one school.

Satisfied. Back in the summer we were talking about "greatest class ever". Even right before the Under Armour game we were still talking about it. So, it isn't about the class being bad or anything, it just fell short of expectations. Losing CRob, Hootie, Brown, Willis and Speedy sucks.

Definetly happy

The main reason I was upset on 1/2 is because of all the in-state guys we lost but we've replaced them with people that are just as talented

The biggest loss in my opinion was Cameron Robinson.

Maea Teuhema > C. Robinson

It cannot be overstated how big a deal it was to get the Teuhema brothers yesterday.

Happy. If we'd got the guys we thought were locks to us then it would have easily been best LSU class ever. Had we got 2 of Noil, Robinson, Jackson, Carter it would have been best class ever.

So I'm satisfied, but it's still disappointing when you think of what might have been.

That's a sword than can cut both ways. That's why I go with "overjoyed" because of how the staff rebounded after being trolled by these prospects. Got to give Miles & staff major kudos!

Very happy. The only one that really hurt in the end was the loss of Cameron Robinson.
