what about joe mcknight? One player means we aren't in good standing with them?

what about the 6 or 7 other players i just named?

Why dont people say the same thing about Evangel? More kids have turned LSU down over the years from there than at Curtis.

Curtis has put 7-8 scholarship players at LSU the last 10 years. LSU lost out on 2 guys, McKnight and Ryan Watson to USC. Not to mention 4-5 other walkons, with 3 of them being JT's nephews.

and LSU passed on guys like Kenny Cain and Robbie Green, who would have came here had they wanted them.

and for the record, a big part of McKnight turning down LSU was our dumbass fans who bothered him throughout his whole recruitment. He wanted to get away.

That's a freshman?

Wow. He has got favorite attribute in a RB: balance. No doubt he will get offers from just about everyone.

back on a computer where i can actually type. Interesting perspective. I'm going off the the NOLA coaches quoted as being so excited and open for him.

figured you were the guy to ask about JC, and that I might get an answer if i pissed you off. With all that in mind, I guess you're right. Looks like JC has been much more of a feeder school than I realized.

As you should.

Those 2 things aren't mutually exclusive. Lester is right, JC has been good to LSU and just gets a bad rap over JM. But that doesn't change the fact that as far as New Orleans goes: (Wilson + LSU) > (Wilson vs. LSU)

Good job. JC doesn't have any animosity towards LSU. Anyone who thinks different is a retard.

people think JT Curtis doesnt like LSU, when he had 3 nephews walk on at LSU in the early 2000s

What does Jeff Curtis think about LSU?

i dont know. he wasnt good enough to play at LSU so he went to tulane. he's a big tulane fan but im sure he advises what is best for the kids. He's certainly not steering kids away

Kid or should I say Man is a stud, I watched him a few times this year. If he didnt have to split carries with upperclassmem, he would have rushed for over 2,000 yards easily.

And I have to agree with Lester Earl on the JC thing.

Its been said that Curtis didn't like LSU long before McKnight. I'm sure we lost out on some guys during the LSU dark ages, but myth's will persist. As LE has said, the record speaks for itself.

Evangel seems to be "worse" though we have gotten guys from there too.

Someone asked earlier, but I didn't see a reply.
I know he's only a freshman; nevertheless, does someone out there have any idea of what his measurables are (size, height, speed)

we lost out on their 2 biggest guys in the 90's . Jonathan Wells and Chris Howard who went to Ohio St and Michigan respectively. Those schools were on much better ground. once Saban took over the JC kids have came when offered for the most part.

Before Saban, LSU didn't do very well in NOLA in general, not just Curtis. That's why I've argued that M. Hill was one of the biggest signing for LSU. Before that, most of the bluechip or 4/5 star players from NOLA rarely went to LSU.

The Curtis/LSU stuff goes back even further though, Reggie Dupard went to SMU in the 80's.

What are his measurables right now, height, weight, etc. Is he 14?

During the season his coach said he is right at six-foot and probably around 210 pounds and he ran a 4.5 40 at the Southern Mississippi camp this past summer.

He is bigger than Kenny Hilliard was as a freshman and I remember people being amazed at Hilliard's size and speed.

And he turned 15 in the middle of this past season.
