Tavius Robinson committed to Ole Miss on June 22nd. With CamRon Jackson switching to Memphs, Orgeron and the staff have turned up the heat on him to try and get him to not sign with the Rebels and instead us.

Yea it’s a little confusing number wise. They signed 3 DE last year, have 3 committed with a few more real possibilities that they can add to the class this year, and they are still recruiting this guy.

What’s so confusing?
You can never have too many good lineman. Some defensive linemen end up being converted into successful offensive lineman anyway.
Also, we always lose a few through attrition, so you constantly have to restock the cupboard.

I doubt he’s a legit 6-8, but he has elite athleticism and closing speed...especially for his size.
Ali Gaye is heavier and a really good athlete for his size, but this kid is even quicker and more athletic.

Nick can't play football and be on a baseball scholarship. I'm guessing you know that already. His options are, walk on or play on a football scholarship. I know that much for a fact

He will not count against the 25; only the 85 and there is plenty of room.
