He had a clear shot at a guy who was blindsided in a scrimmage. Their "track guy in space" was lined up perfectly. Curtis is obviously really talented but let's pump the breaks.

Many has had some really good teams and talent for such a small school but remember these kids are not facing the best athletes in Louisiana. They don’t play against sec type talent in high school. Not a knock on Many as they have a really good team playing 3A or 2A competition. It may be that Tack knows his own abilities and they are suited best for the pac and not SEC. Hell who knows he may be a tiger fan at heart? I wish him all the best.

Would love to add a quality instate linebacker to this great class. Would be awesome to have Curtis part of the new Kelly era.

….But it is abundantly clear him and his family are butt hurt about his LSU recruitment and refuse to let that go even with the new staff. Anything that has to do with Tacket Curtis will be tied to a “ I told you so” dialogue. Which in an odd way just makes LSU look more mature in this situation.

Don’t fall into the trap of bashing the kid. That’s what the family wants to happen to help convince themselves their decision to spurn LSU out of spite was worth it.
