If he wants to dip, see ya. We are more than ok at that position for years to come and then some.

Just why be so petty in the way you leave?

My question on other WR recruits. I looked up myself and found one Tyrie Cleveland. He's much like SS. His number one school was TCU. I just don't see 2 4-star tall lanky WRs both going to the Horny Frogs.

WR: Dupree, Diarse, Quinn, Chark, Johnson, Jackson (will play offense) Spears, Dillon

WR/TE: Smith, Washington

Recruits: Dee Anderson, Coxie, Pettigrew and probably one more

He can be in or out.

I'll be the guy to go against the grain and say it.. LSU could really use him in this class. It's not life or death but Dural and possibly even Dupre and Diarse could be gone after the 2016 season, Quinn is a slot guy (Different positions) and Dee Anderson probably isn't going to even play this year so who knows what may happen with him. If Jamal Pettigrew stays at tight end then losing Sullivan hurts BIG TIME.

Am I the only one who sees this?

By the way, did anyone see this guy at The Opening? He was killing it.

This is the kid there was a thread about 2 weeks ago where several pointed out his love of TCU? If so, not unexpected.

And on the re-tweets, yeah kind of douchy. Not up on my twitter etiquette but it does smell a lot like that with the timing included.

Losing kids left and right?? Isn't this our first and so far only 2016 decommit?

which could possibly explain both the decommit and the hate on LSU. He kills it at the open, so he's got "better options" than LSU... at least in his head.

Noting that just showing love to TCU is not hating on LSU. I didn't look for myself. But here and a couple past comments did seem like he was crapping on LSU long before this day.

TCU Top 2 WRs:

Josh Doctson 6'3" 195 Senior (Route-running Technician/Leaper)
Kolby Listenbee 6'1.5" 183 Senior (Speed Merchant supposedly MUCH improved technique this year)

There are a couple of guys per class that fit this proportion on TCU's roster

honestly, who cares. It's his life, not yours. He's not even a must get. No reason in freaking out over this.

Actually, he is. Hate to break it to you but an LSU commitment is affiliated with LSU and should behave differently than a recruit who's still wide open. If that's a hard concept for you to understand then I'm not really sure what to tell you

TCU - # of WRs with 20+ Receptions during the season:

2014 - 5
2013 - 5
2012 - 5
2011 - 4
2010 - 4
2009 - 4
Since 2004 - TCU has only had <4 WRs with 20+ catches once (2008)

LSU - # of WRs with 20+ Receptions during the season:

2014 - 1
2013 - 2
2012 - 3
2011 - 2
2010 - 3
2009 - 2
Since 2004 - LSU has only had >3 WRs with 20+ catches once (2005)

Combine this with the fact that TCU is losing 3 of their Top 5 WRs following the 2015 season... Adds up to a lot of opportunities for the position.

ETA:

Also the new offense/QB talent already lined up for the next 5+ years

Not saying it guarantees championships... but it seems likely to generate plenty of opportunity for talented players to showcase their abilities.

Every fan base has their village idiots.. Internets just give them a megaphone.

Meant to be a reply to someone talking abt TCU fans bashing LSU.

Told y'all TCU when this stuff came up after the Opening I believe it was.

It'll open the door for Drake Davis or another defensive recruit.

Yeah, that's good. Just one question. How many TCU receivers are playing in the NFL vs. number of LSU receivers? Answer: LSU 7, TCU 2.

It's weird to me that LSU is their first offer.. and a big time program.. and they commit.. but then they decommit..

Don't kids respect the major program that was first to offer them? I mean it's LSU.. and you were their first offer. What more do you want. Definitely would love to see him and his size at LSU.

LSU may be stacked at receiver, but these guys are always leaving after Junior season too. It's still nice to keep reloading here. Especially with a guy with his size.

NFL WRs during the same time span (2010 draft is for 2009 college year, and so on)

LSU
10 LaFell 3rd, Holliday 6th
11
12 Randle 2nd
13
14 Beckham 1st, Landry 2nd, Wright 7th
15

TCU
10
11 Jeremy Kerley 5th
12
13 Josh Boyle 4th
14
15

2014 NFL season

LSU
Beckham 91 rec 1305 yards - 12 TDs rookie of the year
LaFell 74 rec 953 yards 7 TDs - new contract then won Super Bowl
Randle 71 rec 938 yards 3 TDs - best season of his young and growing career
Landry 84 rec 758 yards 5 TDs - (1912 all purpose yards avg 28.1 KR, all rookie team)

TCU
Kerley 38 rec 409 yards 1 TD

I'm not going to fault him for going over to TCU, but to compare some receptions and college player production to NFL success, really?

Datbayoubengal just put everything in perspective. The gap between LSU vs TCU WRs in the NFL will increase more in the the next few years as well.
