It's funny to see people turn on North La, even if you're just joking.
That is being used against LSU right now in regards to negative recruiting.
You heard it first hand from Torshiro Davis and it's currently going on right now.
Recruiters are claiming to NLA recruits that Miles/Frank Wilson have favorites from SLa that are getting PT over guys from NLa.
Since Frank is our ace recruiter and his area is NOLA, that's being turned around and used as an advantage by other staffs while recruiting in NLa.
Not really sure which players/ favorites they are referring to though.
ding ding ding
just like we have to be careful not to bash a recruit, to bash an entire area full of 'em on gives the competition ammo.
there's a reason kids form South LA say "I'm from Lousisiana" and kids from North LA say "I'm from North Louisiana".
Frankly, they feel more comfortable on I-20 1 or 2 states over sometimes. And that's not even counting the TX influence over on the Sabine R side

Years from now when their professional careers are over, they have the opportunity to look back and what an exceedingly rare occurrence took place on their watch at Louisiana State University. I hope someone creates a documentary (30 for 30 style) about this special year in Louisiana and LSU recruiting after they win a couple of national titles and go on to NFL fame and fortune.
I like optimism, but god damn, this is going full retard

Note, he did not say he wanted to go into the "North La HOF"

Easy there, shooter.

There's no reason to seperate North and South Louisiana anymore than it already is. Both parts of the state have contributed to LSU's success over the years. Just because a couple of kids choose to go to the enemy doesn't mean that all of NLA is tainted or something. It's "da boot." Not the running shoe. We have our ankles covered.
