Lurked for years and watched the Recruiting Assistance Team do work on this board. They started to phase out right as I joined up. They pop in every now and again, but this board is completely different than it used to be.

Second this - I don't want to leave anybody out (such as Duckie) - but RAT has really stepped up, particularly as the season wound down.

I will be the first to admit, 1/2 got to me.

Props to everyone who has been able to stay positive through this cycle, no small task with all things considered

I'm pretty sure even the most positive of us faltered sometime on 1/2

Thanks to all those who put in work and sway when the evils of 1/2 came calling.

I'm sure the commits and their family members also appreciate the positive threads.

Here's to tomorrow!

1/2 almost crushed me. I'm over it and can't wait for Wednesday. But yes, thank you to all that contributed to this board and for bringing easy access info to a person like me (stuck in Illinois) who loves Louisiana and LSU.

When LF was coming up to announce, I couldn't watch the game or this board. I kept refreshing twitter. Figured that was my safest bet

I was shocked when GW3 picked the Dumpster Fire(tm), until I then remembered who is brother is and his family of dysfunction. Got over him.

I was shocked Tony Brown joined the Lolipop Guild, until I found out he was a fan of getting his picture taken from the side by Tuscaloosa's Finest. That and he has a shoulder made of yogurt and held together by cotton swabs. I think he will focus on track and never be a real contributor to the football team. Got over him.

I was not shocked by Speedy's choice, just disappointed that his Uncle Frank didn't seal the deal by eating momma's burnt casserole without complaining.

Such is life.

The real loss in state this year was Cam-Rob, but that's been done for a while now.

Kenny Young would also be a big loss, but I don't hold that against LSU. There is no logical reason to walk away from Coach Chavis and this defensive scheme and what it can bring to Kenny Young, unless KY really wants to explore a new world. If so, it is what it is.

I think Malachi stays home and is the next bigtime WR for us. He will be sending Cam Cameron Christmas cards for the rest of his life.

Indeed. A big-time tip of the cap to the posters who provide factual information, sane opinions, useful links, and reasonable conjecture. Those of us who follow recruiting mildly, or not at all, need a board like this to be kept in the loop.
