I’m sorry, you don’t let high level talent leave Louisiana particularly in a down year. Ehret has been good to LSU over the years. This is why Frank is on staff to mitigate crap like this from happening. If Sonny is changing his Crystal Ball it means the signs pointing to Texas are significant

Money talks

Money does but some of these players we just aren't going after

UGA
Bama
OU
Ohio State
Texas
USC
Oregon
UF
FSU
Michigan
ND
Clemson
South Carolina
Texas A&M

All those teams are currently going after more top 100 players than LSU.
While money is a factor , you can't tell me some of those schools are out bidding us for players.

We just aren't going after top end talent.

We need to get him back on campus ASAP. With him just visiting Texas, I’m sure dollar signs are the only thing on his mind. Long way until signing day but the staff needs to land Mack, McKinley, and Singleton.

This is concerning but it would be more concerning if the big in-state DL was heading out of state. That would be an even bigger problem.

We are currently doing good with the LA top ten but we need to secure at least 2 out of the top 3.

I hate to break it to you, but things aren’t looking great with our big in-state DL either. It is what it is. I’m not going to get too fricked up about it.

My God, Texas is owning us right

Wow, UTx has never owned us on or off the field.
Texas has over 300 kids that sign college scholarships every year. We have been getting more than our share every year, even in the bad years at LSU.

Think about the last time UTx was good in football? Been a while hasn’t it !

Please tell me when LSU got every top 10 player from Louisiana. For 2024 they have gotten 7 of the top 10 to commit, they are in very good standing with an 8th and probably are a slight favorite with the 9th. You never want to lose any but I think they are fine. The state is in a down year and then some of our out of state guys like Hurley are massively underrated.

Louisiana can't out money Texas or Texas A&M. The best we can hope for is for them to continue hiring crap coaches.

What happens on signing day is all that matters.

There was this highly covered db that Bama beat us out of a few years ago, I don't remember his name. The guy we did get was Jamal Adams...

Not worried about Texas.. All that money just makes them softer.

We all know what this is about. Before NIL, how often do you see a top notch LA kid go to Tejas.

That’s cool. Sark is still their coach so they’re going to underperform as usual. 8-4

Nobody can compete with Texas money. Some kids can just be bought. It happens. Probably pick him up in the portal in two years

This is very true. The last two years, there’s been a lot of flipping and out of left field signings due to NIL on signing day. I don’t expect anything different this year.
