Durham was better than Berry, even playing hurt. I don't get everyone wanted to boot Durham for Berry.

You weren’t watching the same games we were then. I watched Berry run with way better vision and cutting ability. I saw Durham hit the arse end of linemen for 1 yd and totally missing a wide open hole over and over this year. And getting ran down from behind easily even if he somehow did break one.

I’m really not understanding what you watched to make you believe that Durham looked better than Berry other than you just wanting to go against the grain of everybody else’s opinion just to start an argument.

This is where I'm at. Durham simply hasn't been the same since that injur his freshman year. Not to say he's forever damaged goods but if he wants out he seems easily replaceable via the porta
lol. He was hurt in the 3rd game where he got significant carries. After that

21 car 101 yards 3 TDs Arkansas
8 car 63 yards Bama
21 carries 95 yards Florida
11 carries 80 yards Oklahoma

Durham dealing with the massive arse that was the run blocking scheme and run play scheme was the damn problem.

I'm going to laugh my arse off if he goes somewhere and runs for 1300 yards. Some people just don't realize how handcuffed LSU was by Sloan and Davis.

I think most LSU fans would love to see him stay but like they said above, it's not hard to find a replacement for him in the portal. You know RBs will be wanting to come over as you see with Lacy.

I'm more interested to see our OL strategy because I didn't like our OL coach hire and I've seen nothing on this yet. No whispers or anything. I guess they still evaluating this end.

If Durham enters the portal, I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up at Oklahoma. They were the favorite for him before he finally signed with LSU.

I’d love to see Duce Alexander at LSU. He is a dude. Catches the ball well, even in traffic, runs hard after the catch, and breaks tackles.

You could see something when LSU announces more players for the Nike Blue Ribbon deal. Pickett and Green are already on there, which basically is ensuring they are locked down.

That was my thought when that deal was announced. Use Nike’s money to lock down a few players you absolutely do not want to lose, and distribute funds elsewhere.

People saw Durham get caught from behind on a couple breakaways so they came to the conclusion that he sucks

He would make all 3 work

His #2 RB was Logan Diggs with about 180 yards. Nobody is going to willingly come here to be a #3 RB unless they aren’t very talented.

This year isn't the norm, he usually has at least 2 RBs with very high production in his offense. Go look at their past seasons at Ole Miss. Lacy was just that good.

Don't worry about the depth. They will get it somewhere even if they have to go to FCS to find a talented sophomore who will make way more at LSU and could easily elevate to this level. That's going to be a step up regardless how you see it because he will be making more money and will have the opportunity to eventually start.

All that is for naught without the best OL.

I think most of those people think they’re comparing Durham to Berry, but they are really comparing Pre-injury Durham to injured and post injury Durham, even if they don’t realize it.

I don’t know what the timeline of his injury is as to whether he’s all the way recovered and his stats during all this was, but he seemed to be better at the end of the season.

Caden Durham is considering entering the portal. He loved Frank, and always was a home town guy being from Oklahoma. Eric Morris of Oklahoma St trying to make a splash of Durham and Mestmaker through the portal. Oklahoma will probably try to as well. Hope Lane and company can find a way to keep him.

Between Durham and Berry, Berry all day

Won’t keep both with Lacy coming

In 2024, Bentley was the #2 RB with around 400 yards. Same thing in 2003.

Why would he go to Florida when they brought the Ga Tech qb? No way he goes to Miami. They big game hunt and his name isn’t big enough.

Dylan Stewart will follow Lucas. Everything I’ve heard from USC is that those two are inseparable. Where did you get this info from. Also, who gives a shite about Durham if Lacy comes. It’s Berry we want to keep anyways.

Oh you think he’s going to sit behind fricking Berry (if he stays) and Lacy haha. Zero chance.
