Totally. I crack up with the "freed up money" argument. It's fricking stupid. Similar to the argument of "well, we couldn't pay him because X player on the team only makes $___" ... the elite NIL programs don't have to choose. They can poach the elite player AND keep their other players committed - there is no "freeing" of money necessary. And roster dynamics? Doesn't matter because they have the ability to pay someone new AND up the pay of the current roster.
The undeniable truth right now is LSU is a top 10-15 program at their highest potential. Gone are the days where we were just a coach away from being the top program in the country; that dream is dead. Until NIL is regulated and contracts implemented, LSU will struggle to field anything other than 8-4/9-3 teams. Don't melt when it happens; melt about the sport being completely bastardized.

Firing Kelly won’t do anything to fix our subpar NIL game. It doesn’t matter who the next coach is. We simply do not have the boosters that some of these other schools have.

Which 5 stars are flipping to us? I see us losing two and possibly two more, yet I don't see any flipping to LSU.
Kelly is dead set on having an Offensive Lineman (Campbell) be the highest paid player on the team. These other 5 stars are just using us to get more money from their real favorite school.
I don't think Frank or Kelly understand what these kids are doing yet. Maybe after this year they will.
The goal is to win National Championships on the field, not to have the number 1 recruiting class for "Most" of the year, then end up looking like fools on Signing Day.
If that were the case, we would have more Championships than Bama.

LSU needs to focus resources on middle tier players unless they are from Louisiana. They are out of their depth with the skyrocketing NIL payments being given out. The money being given the these top tier recruits now, compared to 2 years ago, isn’t even in the same stratosphere.

Maybe um the only one that would rather not spend millions on a HS DL who played 10 games and whose "guardian" seems like a knucklehead and go get 4 or 5 proven quality players from the portal?
