If Mett is one and done, then that likely means that we are playing for a National Championship. I'd take that every day of the week.

Yes. LSU better win the NC next year. We'll have QB trouble again real soon if he is one and done. That is assuming none of these guys gets moved or attrition happens. I'm hoping LSU picks up a huge stud this year.

I'll drive Mett to the NFL draft in NY if he brings home the crystal.

I'll buy his plane ticket. The QB situation is better than it's been since Flynn and RP left the same year. Rivers and Randall will be in their third seasons come 2013 and from watching film of Liggins, he may be the best of the lot. Guy looks like a bigger, faster version of Rohan to me. QB future is bright for the Tigers.

Otherwise we're looking at being right back in the mess we've been dealing with for the past few years.

The development of Rivers should be an extremely important thing to watch out for this spring and fall camp. If he can't step up we're talking about a 3 qb race between himself and 2 project qbs who may be better fits at other positions. Yikes.

He'd have to be pretty damn good to leave after this year (2 years not 1). And, I sure as hell am not praying for that.

When Mett leads us to the title this year and after he wants to leave for the NFL then I'm perfectly ok with that.

Brightside of our qb play imo is that in no way can we have worse than the last 4 years. We had to have hit rock bottom. Randall can play. Some kids are better when the lights are on than in practice. Don't sleep on Liggins. The guy is a winner and leader. Also not unintelligent as a football player or skiddish of a pass rush.

Mett will be here 2 years. No way he goes pro after 1 year starting, especially in our run-first system. He needs the full 2 years to position himself.

So true! He's here for two years.

Where is Mett possibly being 1 and done coming from? I'm curious because i've seen this alot. I guess i'm not expecting him to be that great since it's his first year starting.

when you see mett next year, you are going to wonder why he wasnt playing this year...The guy is special, if I had any money to bet, id bet any fricker on here that he lights it up next year...maybe not heisman stuff because thats going to Barkley anyway... But the guy is going to turn heads big time...only thing i worry about is miles calling for a FB dive on 3rd and 8...

I thought Rivers was considered a 2-3 year project? However, in your world, only the other two QBs (who will remain nameless) are projects. Why wouldn't the development of the other two QBs be just as important? Miracle of miracles could be that one of the other two QBs or both being the better QB. There are no facts that suggest Rivers is or will be a better QB. None whatsoever.

In my world? I assume rivers is ahead of the other 2 because well he beat Randall out last year and when miles would list the qbs there was never any mention of Randall. Thanks for the lecture though dicknose

You are welcome asswipe.

Now, in your world, what was it that Rivers beat Randall out for? Seat on the bench closest to the Gatoraid? Did he also beat out Liggins last year as well? Miles failing to mention Randall is somehow a coded message to you that he will not be a better QB than Rivers? All righty then.
