Also, why is Lamar being shut down HELPING your argument at all?

Because if your criteria is a QB not playing well in one game or a few games, you are not going to have any QBs

For every cam newton & burrow you have every other QB that has played bad in games. Such a stupid, short sighted barometer.

Lamar Jackson has a Heisman & will win an nfl mvp.

Sorry, but I want that guy on my team.

Hurts lost 5 games in 4 years. FIVE! I want that guy on my team

You can have Myles Brennan

Do you post under the same screen name on 247? Because you have an imposter if so.

You straight up told me guys that I said were going to go pro early, were not, in fact threats to leave

This guy using your username on 247 reversed that & said the players I were listing were indeed threats. It was funny stuff

Is Lamar Jackson NFL MVP taking the Ravens to a Superbowl?
Did the mobile Trevor Lawrence run to victory over LSU last night?
Did Justin Fields at Ohio State run to victory over Clemson?
Did Jalen Hurts at Oklahoma run to victory over LSU?

I've seen all the running QB's I care to see coem through LSU during the Miles area. I'll take an accurate passing QB with a little mobility over running QB's that lack accuracy. D'Eriq King can head anywhere but Baton Rouge. He doesn't fit our system which is PASSING the ball down the field.

Talk about insanity!!!! Is Tom Brady taking New England to the Superbowl? Is Drew Brees taking New Orleans to the Superbowl? The above statements illustrate you critical thinking is amiss.

Anyone stating they do not want LSU to recruit dual threat QBs is either a moron or something worse. It is asinine! The best QBs in college football over the last 10 - 15 years have unequivocally been dual threat QBs. And it is not even close. Yet LSU has "fans" who state they prefer LSU not recruit dual threat QBs. I can only imagine what their image of a dual threat QB is that leads them to that moronic conclusion.

This guy is so throwed off he actually publicizes the fact that he wouldn't want Lamar Jackson, Trevor Lawrence (not really), Justin Fields or Jalen Hurts as QBs at LSU. I guess it's true that ignorance is bliss.

Jalen Hurts literally never played good in any of 5 playoff games. The 5 most important games he never showed up. Why is that? Address it.

I posted somewhere that the only 3 transfer QBs I think could compete with Brennan next year were King, Newman, and Costello. Out of all four QBs (including Brennan), Newman is the one I wanted most. That guy can be coached up and he has the NFL physical tools to have had a crazy year at LSU.

I know people said Brennan ran for 1000 yards in high school, but that doesn't mean anything. Winston ran for over 2000 in high school and after 200 yards as a RSFR, he was just your standard mobile QB. Same with Aaron Murray. He ran for 1200 yards in high school (over 900 as a senior in HS), yet he didn't even have 500 rush yards over a 4 year starting career at UGA.

Honestly I'm team Brennan, but I'd bring in King if he wanted and see if he could compete. If he won the job, it would be all that you needed to know about what the coaches think of him. You guys with the "I don't want him, I don't want him" nonsense are stupid. If he beats out Brennan, then that means Brady and the coaches believes he is best suited to run this offense. You know the offense that just destroyed LSU, SEC, and NCAA records?

People were talking about Fields saying he isn't this, he isn't that, and Fromm is so much better. Well the guy went Ohio St, became the starting QB in a couple months, and put up a 41-3 TD-int ratio averaging 9.3 an attempt, and adding almost 500 yards and 10 TDs on the ground. The run game regressed badly at Ohio St last year when Haskins was the QB. There was barely a threat to run from the QB position giving defenses a much easier ro to key in on the RBs. Fields comes in and Dobbins runs for 2000 and 21 TD and the backup runs for almost 800.

King in his great year played three power 5 teams (and no they didn't have good defenses), but he posted 1100 pass yards 12 TDs and 130 rush yards 4 TDs. In the 10 games he started and finished (meaning not the one he only played for a half before getting injured), he threw 3+ TDs 8/10. He had at least 320 passing in 5/10, and had 3/10 games with over 400 pass yards.

Although on another note, if he goes to Oklahoma and wins the competition, I bet Spencer Rattler leaves and I'd love to pick this guy up to replace Brennan when he leaves.

And you want to rag Jalen hurts, but QBs with Brennan’s skill set are missing out on the CFB playoff at an alarming rate. They aren’t even getting in the 4, how are you going to rag someone that’s led his team their 3x?

Times are changing.

Boxing in what you think is an ideal offense is not the way to go. Especially if you think it’s a pocket passer lmao

I had 4 guys I thought for sure were gone most people believe are gone (Jefferson, Delpit, CEH, then next up a list of guys who were going to make a decision and could be leaning more towards going then the next list up of guys who would be thinking about it but maybe more on the side of returning. Sorry if whatever I responded to with upset you but I'm sure there was good reasoning behind it, like you saying a bunch of guys for sure going pro and you didnt know that right now, some probably on my make a decision list.

Also - extremely creepy you follow me around on boards.

Not sure how you cant see a difference there. Coker and Sims weren't a part of great offenses either, so not sure why you even throw them in there. Jones has played in a few games and in his biggest one threw 2 pick sixes which decided the game basically.

The commonality between all of them in their offense was getting the ball to your athletes in space and let them make plays and it worked. Coker threw for 3100 yds that year. Sims threw for 3500 and 28TD's and he was a fricking running back that was converted to QB. Both of their offenses were pretty damn good. Coker had a 2200 yd back on his offense lol. Do you think King is better than Blake Sims? Brady can do a lot of things with a guy like King imo.

Sims threw 3 INT in the NCG and they lost.

It's all great when you're beating overmatched teams or have an elite defense to bail you out, but ultimately having an elite passer is what you should strive for. You can always help yourself out but you can only mask deficiencies passing for so long. In the end if you cant beat teams through the air these days you're likely to get tripped up at some point. Again, maybe if you cant rest your laurels on a ridiculous defense or something, even then, better hope other teams dont rip you up.

You have still yet to post anything specific about this on here, except what your hazy memory is recalling, link to all this on this board? I know exactly what I said on 247 and repeated here now. I highly doubt it was anything close to parroting what you said as I would never in a million years do that for anything you say. I had 3 specific groups I posted there of guys I thought were long gone, making a decision on one side of fence and making decision on other side of fence (but they could really go either way in the end, you just never know). I sincerely hope you dont think that was me saying "ERRBODY LEAVING" if thats what you said.

And? It happens, guys have bad games against good teams from time to time. Should we just completely disregard what they’ve done to get to where they are. He still had a great year that year especially for a converted RB. You hinge everyone’s success based on a game or two?

Well no shite everyone wants that. Most NFL teams are still looking for that. They don’t fall off trees.

It’s ok to get tripped up. Very few teams ever go undefeated. Your expectations of a passer are way out of whack. Brennan isn’t going to be Tom Brady bro
