The guy has played DT QBs in the past and been successful with them. I understand the offense he ran this year might not be the best fit, but if Nathan Peterman was his best QB option at Pitt, I think the reasoning is pretty clear.

Orgeron made it pretty clear that he wants to run a spread, and Canada ran a good bit of or as recently as 2015 at NC State. Do you not think there is a good pitch to be made here? Are we in a situation where it's going to either Brennan or Narcisse, but no chance of both at this point?

All that said, he would be a monster in the AAC in Norvell's offense at Memphis. They were really good with a guy who really was more of a pass-first QB this year. A healthy Narcisse takes them to another level. I he isn't in purple and gold, I'll take blue and gray.

Narcisse may as well go into the witness protection program if he goes to Memphis.

I'll be sitting on my couch 3 years from now watching the Tampax Pearl Topeka Bowl and hear the announcer say "Narcisse with the completion" and I'll think "oh yeah I remember him".
