So 2 or so of our 4 stars would be 5 stars if signing with Bama.

That’s a legit point to factor in for quality of class as a whole.

Is On3 anti-LSU as well? I thought we liked them.

The fact that Green isn't a 5 star is amazing to me

Clearly Bama's classes are overrated - they only make the CFP 80% of the time and their down years are 10-2. LSU does have a quality class, but if you want LSU to get the Bama treatment, hope LSU recruits a couple ticks better.

On3 has him 3 spots off. He pretty much is at that point.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that LSU will end up with 2 5-stars in Green and Davis.

Durham has an outside shot if he can blow away scouts at the all-star practices/game with his speed. But with less of an emphasis on RB these days, it probably won't happen.

eta: Nevermind. Since it doesn't look like Durham is on the roster for the All-American games.

I like this class, a lot. But pointing this out is not being a victim, it’s just facts. Might qualify as a bit whiny, but not a victim.

If you haven't learned from this year, I don't know what to tell you. Bama somehow ALWAYS gets the benefit of the doubt. Half of their championship are mulligans where they got in over someone else, for some reason. I don't know if Saban sold he soul to the devil, or the university or the SEC is in on it, but no school has ever gotten the benefit of the doubt like Saban-led Bama. At this point, it's almost on autopilot.

Funny thing about getting the best players and assembling the best teams, you find yourself in a position to get "lucky" or have the benefit of the doubt, as you say, more often than not.

Come on, this is a loser mentality. Would you say the same thing about LSU baseball?

every year, every fanbase

We had a great class, got some real sleepers.

Our 3 and 4s would be a star better if it were _____ school.

I really like our 3 stars. Most are 4 and 5 in reality but blossomed late.
