I'm mostly a lurker on this site, and obviously a stranger to you, but I wanted to offer my opinion (fwiw) that you and your son are class folks.
My daughter chose to go to UF. She got a good education. I've forgotten the bad feelings of the 90s and actually pull for them if it doesn't conflict with LSU.
Not that it makes any difference to you, but if your son chooses to go there, aside from playing LSU I'll root for him as a player representing Louisiana (edit)....same as class guys like Warrick Dunn and Marshall Faulk in the past. hope you see that as a compliment, cause it's meant as such.
I'd love to see him in the Tiger Family though.

The grass may look green right now...hell it may be green...but it will turn one day, all to often sooner than later...then where are you...a decision to ponder. I know for me home was always where the heart was...and nobody puts high performaning secondary players in the NFL like LSU does...no body. Good luck and god speed.

any ways I'm excited about all these recruits.
LSU has potential for one of it's best classes of all-time. the future is tremendous. finally get some serious talent and depth at DT!

I swear to Christ. I really wish we could go back to the day of just watching a fax machine on signing day. These fricking kids are entirely too propped up. I've told my story a few times on this board but my nephew was a heavily recruited kid right after Katrina. His dad, my brother in-law, was killed by a drunk driver when he was just 6ys old so my wife and I have always kind of looked after him like he was one of our own kids. Anyway, I did the camp circuit with him and hosted some in-home visits, etc. The shite that gets said during these things is insane. When we were on a trip around the Texas camps there were " male groupies" hanging out in the parking lots trying to befriend these kids. At a camp on the West Coast a guy walked up to my nephew, who was 16 at the time, and offered to get him a prostitute and to meet and hang out with the rapper Future.
