We signed 7 of the top 10 Louisiana players in 2015 and 9 of the top 10 in 2016.

Last year we were raided.

This year is much closer to the mean.

I've never heard of closing a fence. Barb wire gap was open?

Sure you can and it will happen again. It happens in all states. This one I am honestly glad we did lose. If they don't want to be here then so be it. He will be a reserve at bama for 3 years.

What was LSU supposed to different with Sopsher? They recruited him as hard as possible and he chose the other school. I get the complaints that they didn’t get enough d linemen in this class. I don’t get the complaints about losing Sopsher. If anything I think LSU put too many resources towards getting him and didn’t get any other d lineman in the late signing period possibly because of it.

Not a bad reserve, we will be extremely thin after next year and hurting badly if someone goes down. That's the difference with Bama right now they have him in " reserve" while our starters are playing 90+% of the game

To be fair Alabama was in the same position this past season which is why they took so many DL this class. LSU just has to do the same for 2020.

LSU did EVERYTHING they could possibly due to secure his signature even to the point where Ish supposedly told the staff that he was on board going into the last visit.

You can’t fault the staff for not getting him.

If he was from anywher other than Amite he is likely a Tiger.. Some forces you cannot overcome even if you give it all you can.

And he lied just like Landon Collins did and others in the state that went to Bama. Cam Robinson, etc.

If by closing you mean exactly like it was with Miles, then OK. 7 of the top 10 is about what Miles averaged, IIRC.

That is true. It was a great recruiting class even if we let ourselves get played by another Amite player.

I think he did a fair amount of trolling of the LSU fanbase. Too bad he and Hootie Jones didn't serve jail time as they deserved to.

its recruiting man. Vol obviously has inside sources and he provides the most reliable info here, one recruit doesn’t commit and people jump his shite.

Ish played the staff, not anybody’s fault. For all I’m concerned, frick him and his groupie arse

This is a bullshite excuse. LSU doesn’t want to do what’s necessary to stop this kind of thing. It would be a nasty, dirty business, but if you and your boosters use influence to hurt those who take money from other schools to steer players, word gets out. Right now, why would they care? There’s no retribution for helping other schools. No repercussions. That could be changed. If you want a fence, fighting back like this is nexessary.
