Why would he be in the running for a HC job?

If you are keeping Sloan to get Underwood you are fricking up.

If Sloan stays one more year then gets fired or takes a HC job Underwood is most likely gone without playing any meaningful snaps.

lmao Sloan is having trouble wrapping his mind around calling plays. Imagine giving him the reins to an entire team.

Is it possible that he has what it takes to be an OC at a major college, but he doesn’t have the QB to run the type of plays he’d like to call? I like Nuss, but he’s not a threat to run, so that puts a limit on play calling.

So you change the fricking plays

All good coaches change their offense to fit the personnel they have, this excuse that Sloan needs a running QB to have an effective offense is bullshite. If he was worth a shite he’d be able to adjust his offense this year to fit a pocket passer. That’s the difference between good coaches and average coaches

To piggyback off of this, good coaches when given good talent produce good to great results. They don't frick it up. The bad coaches do.

LSU has a lot of really good to great talent on offense. Sloan has managed to not do anything with it if not **** it up.

I find it hilarious most fans thought it was a good idea to elevate him to OC at LSU despite the fact his only OC experience was 1 year at LaTech which was so bad that the school fired Skip Holtz

Now 10 games he’s showing what was predicable by his resume’ yet the fan base went from hot (only because he was recruiting Underwood) to cold on him

The next time we hire a coach that’s clearly unqualified for the postition, stop pumping the sunshine

Sloan in running for Head Coach position

I’m sure that over the last 10 quarters of LSU football, a lot of that interest has died down.

That guy is NOT head coach material right now.

He’ll be here until Dec 5th no mater what, let BU sign and seal - then figure it out- if this offense is skewered towards a DT QB then take your lumps w/ the freshman- Nuss will be drafted regardless of his indecisions at LSU. Any Pro Coach or Any Coach has an ego and is sure they can straighten out his mistakes because his arm talent his still his commodity.
