also just glad he is not going to a school where we would have to play against him every year. Hope he fully recovers and has a great career at OSU. He just seemed a little risky for us to take with all the backs coming in in the near future.

Wish him luck. But it sucks after LSU honored their offer even after the injury.

Yeah, well put. Its rare to find a staff that will honor offers after injuries like LSU does.

Add on top of that they just moved to Louisiana for more exposure for the hs football career.

Turns out they used LSU to get the offer they were after the entire time.

I'm also going to wonder if Sione or the LSU staff knows something we don't about guys coming back whom people thought were going pro.

I just don't see Hill coming back. Blue has already announced he's entering the draft. That leaves Hilliard.

This is a shocker to me. We offer a kid like Palelei(and I mean "like" by saying he was not really on anyone's radar when we offered) he gets hurt we stand by him and he does a complete 360 and gives us the shaft. Will be interesting to hear what is really going on behind this one.

This is why I don't understand everyone wishing him well. I'm not saying to wish harm on him, as I'm not doing that, but it's okay to not wish him well after the bullshite he just pulled.

I don't think it's anyone giving anyone else the shaft. Given who we've been visiting lately, it seems we've got someone else coming in who we may not have thought we had a chance at, and who fits our style of play. Sione saw the writing on the wall, looked elsewhere, and found a better fit. As someone else said, win-win.

People are just giving him the benefit of the doubt. If what happened is truly what it looks like on the surface than it was a punk move. However it looks like it will work out for everyone, and he gave decent notice.

They did move to Louisiana for him to get better exposure. I read an article quoting the family on this a year or two back.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but don't they have close family in the Stillwater area? Wouldn't it make sense to move closer to family once you get an offer from the elite program nearby?

I'm not bashing him, I just think that things played out exactly as they hoped.

I don't think out staff told him to look around like they did with hardeman, care to give us some insight?
