Your second statement is correct, but it doesn't make your first statement correct. You need more than $7m if you want to compete at the highest levels. That's 1/3 of what the biggest NIL programs are spending. We're never going to match what those guys spend, but we can't realistically compete if we're THAT far off.

You absolutely can. LSU has been doing it for decades. Even now that it's out in the open and costs more, you don't have to pay more than everyone else if your evaluations are correct.
