Guice posted on Twitter congratulating his teammate javahn for committing to LSU a few weeks ago. It became assumed he was joining as a preferred walk on. Ended up signing a loi at New Mexico State today.

I would not be opposed to adding a JUCO LB if a good one whose academics would qualify becomes available.
But another option to consider is to move a decent sized safety to OLB. I have seen the names of Corey Thompson and Devin Voorhies mentioned as possibilities.

Also, with the possibility of Garrett transferring, it's a huge need. I don't understand how people on this board think we're set at linebacker when we only had 1 consistent one last year and he's moved on to the NFL.. Duke Riley I think will really step in later on in the year and start, but the other outside LB is going to be up in the air. Never was really impressed with Louis or Jones..Jones is a freak athlete but I don't think he understands the position yet. Hopefully I'm wrong come September.

If we had 2 consistent LBers last year, we wouldn't have gotten gashed up the middle multiple games last year..especially with 2 DL that will be on NFL rosters...actually 3 if you count Godcheaux(sp?)

I'd rather we use that scholly for a walk on who's earned it.
We're ok, not great, at lb bodies on campus. But, these guys are finally all upperclassmen and should be ready to play. Obviously we need 4 in next years class.
